That's funny, because the numbers sure say otherwise.

Sony copies everything from Nintendo. They've done it before, and they're doing it again. It's funny, Sony thinks this will bring Nintendo down, and they probably expect Nintendo to RAEG, but Nintendo's just like "oh, thanks for the complement". In the event that Move doesn't completely flop and actually becomes a commercial success, it will be nowhere near the success of the Wii. Who's going to pay $300 for a console and and extra $100 for the motion controller, anyway?! Sony's just in this for the money. It's funny, too, because not too long ago they were mocking Nintendo and calling the Wii a "fad", but now look what they're doing! They just want to steal Nintendo's audience, but unfortunately for them, it's not gonna work.

They are going to bundle move with the PS3.
Oh and Motion Control isn't copywrited. Nintendo got rich off of it, so the other companies wanted to join in. And it isn't likely they will steal Nintendos customers, but that's not to say they can't get new ones, if anything, once Sony and Microsoft go casual, the casual consumer will become confused, and then all 3 companies will lose customers, and have to go hardcore once again, and then all is right in the world. :veryhappy:

ROASTED! :O

And someone mentioned the Wii being epic? HAHAHAH COUGH COUGH! I almost died laughing. And Tye, Nintendo's just in this for the money too. It's not like "Oh! We care more about our fans than we do money. So, hey, let's actually make a console with good graphics, doesn't lag, rarely freezes, and has a lot of great games!" No, Nintendo is more like: "GUYS! THESE DSi'S ARE SELLING LIKE HOTCAKES! LET'S MAKE A SLIGHTLY BIGGER VERSION WITH A GRAPHIC CARD THAT IS .011 TIMES BETTER AND SELL IT FOR TWICE AS MUCH!"

That is the single greatest and most truthful thing you have ever said BB.....

Anyways, I heard about this when I started my school work, the commercial came on.
All I have to say is, it might fail, it might not, but this quote speak the truth
"GUYS! THESE DSi'S ARE SELLING LIKE HOTCAKES! LET'S MAKE A SLIGHTLY BIGGER VERSION WITH A GRAPHIC CARD THAT IS .011 TIMES BETTER AND SELL IT FOR TWICE AS MUCH!"

Funny, I just remembered when I first got the Wii. Wii was $250 then, WiiMote $40-50 x 4 plus the what, $25 x 4 Nuchuk? Can't forget the endless amount of Double AAs I had to hunt down until I got that Rechargable Battery station. Oh yeah, the Wii Points were $20 a pop and the games about ten to thirty dollars more? And prices didn't go down for awhile either. :| Don't forget all those useless accessories too!

250 + 200 + 100 + 10x = 550 + 10x Dollars
(x = Amount of Battery packs, 10 being from a pack of sixteen since other things do use those)
Then don't even start with me about getting one of each. It's still expensive as hell, and I didn't even add in all the idiotic weight loss accessories. Even now with the dammed price cut. Plus I'd rather get a PS3 because it's better in the long run. With the Wii, you get a mediocre console that doesn't even begin to meet the standards of the other two. It can't play DVDs, the online sucks, everyone hates friend codes, takes forever to download stuff from the shop, can't expand the harddrive leaving FC games to be stuck on the small storage space included, and the only good games are the ones made by the company who created the console. Meanwhile with the PS3, you can play DVDs and Blu-Ray, get quality online, all you need to do is share your username and you can play with all your friends fast, doesn't take too long to download stuff(this depends on the file size), you get DLC for games other than music games, can expand the harddrive and there are many quality games out there.

And the Wii is a fad.

Maybe Sony will cop on and realize that they have a fairly strong accessory here (better. Than the wiimote, appearently) and an extrememly strong piece of hardware to manipulate it with...

It does have potential... Horrible starting lineup...

You guys are really fighting over this?
So what? Sony copied Nintendos' idea of a motion controller, and it looks similar except for the bulb thing.

Who cares? Although, I'd rather just play with the normal controller.

BTW, this is how Nintendo failed. By adding motion control, and going full out on family games. SONY WILL FALL TOO.

Not likely, because unlike Nintendo, Sony has enough games to help it stay alive if Motion Control ever goes kaput. Plus, it's optional for most games.

every business is in it for the money

in fact, saying nintendo is even remotely in it for the fans is like saying *censored.2.0* doesn't stink.

look at the *censored.2.0* they've shoveled out and the lack of effort put into it. compare it to any other generation nintendo console. they're appeasing an entirely different audience for the money.

All of Nintendo's games might not be your type of games, but that doesn't mean that they're not excellent quality, because they are. It's the third party games (not all of them, of course) that are crap.

Most games made by Nintendo themselves are pretty good, Super Mario Galaxy, Punch Out Wii, and Metroid Prime 3 were all fantastic.

And it looks like the new Metroid game and Mario Galaxy game are going to be just the same. Pretty awesome.
