The reason why most of my arguments sound so biased is because I get so stressed from arguing, and when I'm stressed I'm not thinking as much when I'm posting. Words are just coming out, because I'm trying to get out what I have to say before ten other replies are posted. If you look at my discussions between just me and one other person, I'm a lot more reasonable and understandable than I sometimes can seem in the public forums. I just get so stressed out that I don't act myself. I feel like I'm up against the entire forum, and that's pretty much how it is. Because not many people here share the same opinions as me, I never have anyone to back me up when I need it. But when I post my opinion, multiple people attack me, leaving me to defend myself against everyone else all by myself. I just can't take this stuff anymore.Bacon Boy said:I'm generalizing about his other arguments. You come across proclaiming Nintendo as if it were a cult and then praise it. Then in reality, it's a game system. Of course people are going to say it sucks because they are frustrated that Nintendo isn't exhausting the full potential out of their consoles anymore. There's so much more the Wii could be doing, yet... look where it is now?Tyeforce said:It doesn't seem to me that people think my arguments are strong or that I'm smart, with all the bashing I get. People just say that my arguments are wrong because I'm a fanboy, or whatever excuse they make up. Then they tell me that I'm a "brick wall" and that "I can't accept other people's opinions", which isn't true, but they still say it every *censored.3.0*ing time. It's *censored.2.0* like that that I'm sick of. I just can't take it anymore.//RUN.exe said:Quoting limited to 5 levels deep
And Tom is right in his point that sure, the console is cheap, but the games, controllers, accessories, etc. make it way more than you ever intended to spend on it. (Something sounds grammatically incorrect in that sentence, but I do not know what.)
The point is that Nintendo, if you peel back the curtains, is not all it is cracked up to be. It's full of money mongers and thieves just like every other gaming company. Sure, they have their shares of game loving, crowd pleasing, fan-loving, people. But for the other half, they'd rather have money.
And Tye, the way you're ever going to earn respect in an argument is if you actually start considering or even investigating what one is saying when they rebut you. Instead of shoving "OMG NINTENDO'S THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD!" down their throats, try to understand where their coming from. Not everyone has your same opinions and ideals. Not everyone will agree with you, and hey, in the debating world, you are going to get trashed. No matter what, you'll still lose [SA2 Shadow] to someone because they either don't agree with you, or are just in it to piss you off.
And don't tell me "Not everyone has your same opinions and ideals. Not everyone will agree with you" like I don't know that. I've stress that fact myself many, many times. I guess people just don't listen.
