The reason why I am not Time Travelling!!

honestly i TT but a lot of the time i dont for this reason LOL
that and it stresses me out and i feel the game is a lot more immersive for me if i play it w/o

I'm not TTing because I want to experience the game to the max and enjoy it for as long as I possibly can. It would spoil a lot fun for me (!!!) if I would get and unlock everything right away. It's just not my style of playing Animal Crossing. I want to experience everything as time goes on - the first summer, the first autumn, the first snow in winter. I just LOVE the idea of having a game that synchronizes with the real time, it's one of the things that make this game so great. And while I totally understand that this type of game isn't for everyone and I totally get why a lot of people TT, I personally enjoy the game as it is.

It's sometimes hard to not TT when all your friends do since you're the slowburner of the group, but I'm alright with that. XDD

i agree! i only TT a day or 2 if im impatient for a new building or getting a villager to move in! i can't wait to wear winter stuff in ables this winter and to get mush furniture this fall!

I don't TT because it ruins the fun out of the game for me in the long run.
I prefer waiting for things to unlock in real time - makes the anticipation worth it.
Sure, I'm looking forward to the Mush stuff and I do get a bit envious when I see other players have these items already.
I think it would excite me for for the first few days but then I'd get bored and have nothing to look forward to in the Fall (minus the updates).
Also, the fact that it doesn't seem to be an in-built game feature as it was in previous titles when you could just change the date and time through Isabelle kinda makes me nervous that I'll mess up something in my system. That's probably a silly reason but I can't help but worry. about it.
I only TT'd once and that was to get Rowan out (who was already in boxes) and adopt Zucker but Zucker is my ultimate dreamie so I felt it was justifiable in that sense. Then ever since he unpacked and settled, I synced my time and date and game and don't intend on TT'ing anymore.

same lmao - i tried tt’ing one day at a time and i got bored so quickly lmao

I TT lightly. I can only play at night so I go to earlier in the day but as far as the game knows, I am not TTing at all.

I really think the game should allow for this kind of light TTing within the game. So that we don’t have to go to settings. Some people can’t experience day or night time if they can’t manipulate time.
