Yes! I broke it in a high school when I was carrying my cat downstairs. She jumped out of my arms and I tripped over her. I hit my head hard on a side table and landed right on my foot. I broke it in four places. It was a miracle I was able to get upstairs lol. The boot was a LOT better than crutches, though!
