The one villager who won't ping

Don't you hate it when you want a villager to ping so you can deny their request to move out but they never ping you about moving out? Me too. It's been half a week since the last move-out ping happened and it's obvious someone is going to try to move out. However, I have walked in the eyesight of all my villagers and none of them pinged to move-out. The only ones that did ping only pinged for a generic conversation. The same thing can happen when you want a villager to move out or when you want them to request a PWP. I think in the future games, move-out pings should be top priority and will happen even if the player was just recently pinged by another villager.

You do know about the rumors indicating that no one is thinking of moving, right? If certain personality types tell a rumor about certain things, then no one in your town is thinking about moving. I forget which type says what but you can look up the guides

When I know someone is wanting to move, but they don't ping me, I either
(a) do the 5 minute waiting on the beach trick, OR
(b) save and quit, come back, wait 5 minutes, and then try again.

The second method has worked better for me in terms of move out pings. The first one has worked well in getting catchphrase changes and PWPs, but not as much on moving pings (though I have gotten a couple).

I had a heck of a time getting Pancetti to leave. I just didn't like the way she looked and she was super annoying. She gifted me a toilet in the mail because it reminded her of me.

I'm sorta having that issue, but with PwP requests. Ellie is the one villager who can request most of the PwP's I want, but she's either never outside when I go to farm requests or she just doesn't ping me. Finally got her to suggest the fairytale streetlight last night. So that's one down... x_x

I did B yet they still don't ping to move out. I doubt A wouldn't be much helpt either. I'm just going to assume that nobody wants to move out.
