The Olympics Have Begun

I'm not that interested in them. I like the Winter Olympics better, but I thought I might as well start a topic on them.

I watch the Olympics for the gymnastics.

I watched all of the opening ceremony yesterday. It was definitely one of the best things I've ever seen. ^_^

In terms of sports, I watched soccer (China Vs. Canada), gymnastics, and cycling.

Oh, I forgot to mention that soccer was horrible. :-/

Yes, his wife was injured I believe... she's in critical condition.

Well, Bul, the olympics are a time when the world's nations are meant to gather and celebrate.... Or whatever.

Seriously, aren't these games supposed to be about everybody coming together, despite our differences? And yet there are so many issues...

I watched some of the opening ceremony at the dentist, since they have TVs in all the rooms. I found it enjoyable, until I was interrupted by the novacane needle digging into the roof of my mouth. :-/ I might watch a few events here and there, but not many.
