Sure the casual variety is unpleasing, but I don't see it that way. I see it as more people to brawl. Sounds fun.

Threads like these can produce lots of fun and casual experience for the competitive players out there (chubsterr's Pokemon Tournament is a great example). We players in TX do these kind of things all the time, like the Box of Pain or Ganon Fun Time for example.

When casual rules like these here are taken as something competitive, it can ruin the fun and experience. These kind of rules do not show correct results and rankings in the end. Though you MMC players look like casual competitive players, which is something I've never seen before, so I really do not know how to deal with you type of players. I guess as long as people have fun and don't take the Ratings seriously, it should all turn out to be all right for everyone (again, chubsterr's Pokemon Tournament).

And yes, it would be cool if non-MMC members could play, also. I would

Yep, since like there are 3 people (including pyro) who play brawl in MMC, so letting anyone brawl would be better.

"No items except smashballs, most stages, and edgehogging banned."

But I've come to like the competitive rules better, it brings out more of the game and more of your potential. Some stages you just need to give up on, as they can't be taken seriously at all. *cough* Rumble Falls *cough*

I wouldn't take this too seriously, but it'd sound like fun.

I WAS able to defeat lvl 9s on 99 stock on sped up with only a loss of 20 lives.
I havent played in months and rate myself MEDIORCE TALENT, A bronze/Silver medal at best.
