I decided that I would wait until I have all my dreamies to begin the making of my town. I am just wondering how did everyone set up their town while making it?
I already removed the flowers and kept some on the beach for future breeding.
Next I am planning with trees and I'm not sure if I should remove them all, or just remove any that is just in the way of paths or where PWP's will be going.
So to get an idea on what I should be doing.. how did you set up your town?
Well, I'm waiting until I get the golden watering can, so I can't have a messy town right now. I'm going to chop down some trees after I get it and start looking for paths, doing the daily talk with Sable with my other residents in order to make great paths, etc.
About my villagers... I guess I'll dothe natural arrangements first, then do the paths for the villagers I know I'll keep forever. Finally when the day comes and I have every PWP registered (oh god it seems impossible) I'll get all my dreamies and finnish making my town <3
I started with just developing areas around my dreamies and PWPs (campsite, cafe, fountain, etc.). I also laid a general path that focused on connecting Retail, Town Hall, the Event Plaza, my house, the campsite and the beach ramps; I connected the paths to my villager houses' as well, but I know I would moving/ deleting them as villagers moved out and dreamies moved in.
Hybrid breeding was the main thing for me. I also started hoarding tree and shrub starts as soon as Leif's shop popped up. And one villager gave me a Bamboo start for doing a quest for him, so I was even able to plant a bamboo and start collecting the offspring.
I still don't have all of my dreamies, but I'm glad I've started working on my town. Even though it is still a massive WIP and may change (especially if I'm too lazy to plot reset), it makes it easier to play waiting for my final dreamies since I'm proud of my town so far. c:
