Ok, so, I know people have said about the 16-villager cycle being able to be confirmed by the loss of villagers on main street. But I don't think it's true at all.

My original villagers (give or take like one or two) were Biskit, Monty, Rhonda, Kid Cat and Freckles. The first one to ever move was Biskit. He moved out before any of my original 9 in fact.

Biskit's been on my main street for a while, and he's still there to this day. So, how do I know this main street thing is bogus then? Because I've had far more than 16 move out since him. I can name them if you like? Biskit, Canberra, Rhonda, Pecan, Chadder, Colton, Zell, Pudge, Rocket, Pashmina, Monty, Shari, Punchy, Rosie, Rudy, Aurora, Lopez, O'Hare? Maybe more if I missed any out.

The ones I have seen on my main street are; Biskit, Canberra, Rhonda, Pecan, Chadder, Colton, Zell, Pudge, Rocket, Pashmina, and Rosie. The most recent was Rosie and Colton. Again, I may of missed some people because I can't memorise who I've seen recently.

That's far more than 16 villagers after Biskit, surely? Anyone else experienced this? A villager has never 'left' my main street, they kinda just 'cycle' around each other.

Ahh, that's alright. Would be nice if someone else has experienced this and kinda tracked it. I see so much of the main street rumour and it kinda frustrates me because I was kinda hoping one day to get Colton back… But he appeared on my main street and I'm not sure what that even means because Biskit's still there.

I think the only/best way to keep track is to make a list (like in game notes), or to save all your move-out letters at the post office, in order.

I've been doing the latter, more for nostalgia.
