It’s more likely that I would win a red candy or yellow candy than I would win any of the other prizes, but who know what will happen to this apple. Sorry to say, those are the only prizes I’m not looking forward to. But it’s still better than nothing.

Don't worry! This event goes on until March 3rd, so we have about two weeks still left to gather gems (a long enough time, I'd say), and given the amount already collected and if current activity continues, we'll almost certainly hit 70%, at the least. And either way, it'll have been a fun event activity!
