Did anyone bother to watch this annual exercise in stupidity this year? I didn't, but I enjoyed watching Cee Lo Green's performance, even if the censored version of that song is totally lame. Gwyneth Paltrow didn't help that at all.

However, we did see something historic. For the first time, a song that was written for a video/computer game received a Grammy. Christopher Tin wrote the theme/menu song for Civilization IV and included it on his album released just last year. So that's cool.

Also, there are tons of butthurt idiots over Arcade Fire winning album of the year over hacks like Eminem and Lady Gaga (yeah, I said it.) So that's ****ing awesome, too.

That music from Civilization deserved to win something. I didn't recognize it for a bit, then it hit me like a ton of bricks.
But other than that I couldn't care less about the Grammys.

I am so proud of Arcade Fire. I've been listening to them for years now, and they've been keeping me alive everyday. It was just such a shock to me (I wasn't expecting them to win at all, thinking that Eminem would take the title without a fight). I didn't plan on watching the Grammy's (which reminds me how strongly I hate American cultural) until I found about how they were actually going to perform on the broadcast.

Nope, I didn't watch them (no tv, but I wouldn't have anyway). I can't imagine a song like "**** You" working very well censored, lol.

Also, I'm happy Arcade Fire won! ^^ I heard people complaining about it in art class today, how silly.

People seem to think that the Academy bases its opinions on some combination of sales, top-ten hits, radio play, and their personal iTunes play count.

I didn't. Logies and Oscar's and Emmys is all I watch

They didn't air over here yet, but I was pretty happy with most of the results.

I watched some of the performances, though.
Mumford and Sons were incredible, Cee Lo an Gwyneth were pretty good, and gaga was toned down?

Oh my God, Justin Bieber fans attacked her wikipedia page...
LMAO.

It seems like only a few people managed to make some idiotic edits before it was locked. I'm getting a lot of laughs out of the people who think that the fact that they've never heard of an artist means that they can't win a Grammy.

I'm also surprised that more people haven't heard of Esperanza by now. I've known about her for years... a very promising young lady on the jazz scene, for sure.

Kids at school are still complaining and *****ing about it to me. They've seen me in a couple of Arcade Fire t-shirts and jackets before, so they all decided to be rude to me all week. >______>

Congratulations to Esperanza also! She always seemed very genuine to me.
