many pixel shops here usually have a base they work off of, where they add in features and clothes.
this is a specific art style called dolling.
pixels made from scratch, where there is no base or anything other than a sketch you made. these pixels have careful dithering and sometimes has anti-aliasing.
this is a specific art style called pixel art.
although dolling is pixel art, it has its own category and its easier to refer to it that way.
