Hello! Welcome to Lasagne's art (and other stuff) that they finally decided to post after so long of deciding whether or not to do it as he's very indecisive ✨ (<- full version of the thread name)

Hope you like the stuff I post, and if you don't, feel free to slam my skills so that I can improve : P

I've decided to start this to hopefully maybe probably (not) encourage me to draw more.

Without further ado, enjoy! (that is, if I've posted anything yet 😆)

I'll start off by post the art I made for the Season of Giving! Here's the sky painting I made for @/Beep Boop for secret stocking stuffers (I did ask her what she likes though, otherwise I'd be completely stumped). I'm actually pretty proud of this.

Another piece I did was for secret santa for @/-Blue- . I'm also happy with this one, but I kinda wish I had paid more attention to detail middle ground of it.

Oh, I forgot to show what I did for the Myths of Merriment! Well, here it is. It's from @/LoveGracieMarie 's story "The Blushing Bauble". He's a bit goofy, and a bit of an arsonist, but he's sweet all the same.

Wow you’re really good! I love the sky in the
first drawing and the second one is adorable!

I think this kind of thread is great because as you said it will probably encourage you to draw more.
I have been thinking of making a thread like this but i’m not sure hahah

Just some doodles and stuff from the lyrics of if I killed someone for you by Alec Benjamin. Only the second part of the first verse is actually fleshed out, really. I had another two drawings for the first part but I didn't like them and impulsively tore them because I have excellent judgement, 100%🤌

me and my extremely inconsistent lighting staring at you rn: 🫰🤡

I'm sorry that I did this
The blood is on my hands
I stare at my reflection
I don't know who I am

Practice my confession
In case I take the stand
I'll say I learned my lesson
I'll be a better man

I'm packing up my things
And I'm wiping down the walls
IMG_20250107_144147.jpg
I'm rinsing off my clothes
And I'm walking through the halls
IMG_20250107_144215.jpg
I did it all for her
So I felt nothing at all
IMG_20250107_144317.jpg
I don't know what she'll say
So I'll ask her when she calls

Here's demonesque lovely crystal reindeer I did quickly. Wouldn't look so hollow if I didn't add the void-like eyes and made them actually the same shape, but he's just a little doodle so it doesn't matter that much.

And I posted this before, but here's an oldish drawing I did. Sure, it's an autumn thing but I'm posting it anyway because this is my art thread and I'll post whatever. Not all of the details come up in the picture, but hopefully you can see them well enough. There's also a picture of the uncoloured/unfinished version below it, just so you can see the progression and if you prefer just the drawing, pretend the coloured one doesn't exist 🙈

Old Bungou Stray Dogs stuff, which I've used to show people an example of my art before drawing their OCs, but I'm still happy with them (more so Dazai than Kunikida) so here they go! Hopefully I'll have more of these to post, but a lot of them are done for other people and I don't want to show them because of that. I'll probably do either Chuuya or Atsushi next.

And a silly head for fun. It's no one in particular, I was just practicing the "cute" style and this demon came out of it. Absolutely jaw-dropping. Ignore my awful handwriting

Woah, am I actually posting in my art thread? Crazy.

Anyway, this is a project I'm doing for art in school. It's not completed yet, but it's mostly done. I have a few more things to write and details to add. The topic we were given was "interconnection" (I thought it was "interconnectivity" hence why I have that put down instead), and we had to make a mind map. Idk how to make mind maps properly so I did this, but I do think the teacher forgot that he assigned this as homework. Just a note that I did not draw the world map, my sister gave me a page from a copy of hers that had it so I stuck it in.

I thought making it look like a travel scrapbook would work, so I designed the pictures like Polaroids. Basically I drew them and covered them with tape to give the shiny quality that Polaroids usually have.

IMG_20250206_221909.jpg

This is the whole thing, and as you can see, it's a bit sparse and there's a corner of lined paper empty of writing. Same with the phone, because I want to write about how the internet and modern communicative technology have helped society become interconnected.

IMG_20250206_221939.jpg you probably can't read the writing (and if you can then that's impressive, because I can't even do that), but it doesn't matter because it's a load of waffle about useless stuff. So there's a train, a boat, a plane, and a bike—in case you couldn't tell or something.

IMG_20250206_222004.jpg I'm gonna be honest, I had no idea how to represent people from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds in a picture because I can't be bothered to draw detailed people in this, so I did the classic "it's a circle on an oval but it's really a person". The hat and croissant are to show that, due to travel, we're able to try out many different cultures' foods and clothing, which are usually very big parts of identity.

IMG_20250206_222025.jpg a rat to show that there's drawbacks to the great transport economy we have, such as the spread of diseases. The musical staff is to represent music's growth due to being able to mix and fuse all sorts of music together.

IMG_20250206_222048.jpg and this isn't finished, but I think it'd be fun to have a tiny Starry Night floating around somewhere.

Posting my submission for Aetherial Aesthetics here because why not. I haven't been having the time or motivation to make art recently, so this is the most recent thing I've done art-wise. And yeah, my art homework is staring at me undone and threatening demerits, but I can't be bothered to do something I really done want to do.

Anyway, I'm going to explain my reasons and process behind all the aspects of the aesthetic board.

The stickers for the present and the hot chocolate are actually Christmas stickers. I bought them when my class was bringing in decorations for the classroom at Christmas, but not all of them were used, so I have some spare. I'm pretty sure everyone can guess what the gift box and hot chocolate means, so I'll save explaining (ergo I save time)

The roses in the corner are also pretty typical for Valentine's. I did them in different colours to represent the different kinds of love, and that every kind is beautiful (even if the flowers aren't the best). I made them by getting paper, drawing a circle (with a compass), drawing a spiral. I then cut along the spiral and ended with a few centimetres in the centre to leave room for after I rolled it. So I then, starting at the outside of the circle, rolled the spiral fully, until I got to the few centimetres at the centre. I then glued the paper thingy and stuck it onto the rolled paper. I then took out the centre (without unravelling the roll) and put glue on the base, and stuck it into the cup shape left behind from the previous step. They're not the best, but they're good enough for me and easy enough.

The rainbow was made from the leftovers of the roses/circles. I layered the paper and glued it.

The poem is something I wrote. I haven't been writing poetry recently, but this just came out when I started writing. And yes I did look up the estimated number of stars in the milky-way

And yeah that kind of it. If you read all that, thanks, and if not that's fair enough 😄

Since it's still close enough to valentine's, I decided to try make some hearts out of paper. I'm happy with these because I didn't actually look up how to make them: 'twas all my own ingenuity.

I took a square of paper and I folded it in half vertically (is that called a valley fold? Idk I'm going off what a friend mentioned a year ago when attempting to teach me how to make something oragami). I unfolded it so that I had just a crease. I got the two bottom corners and folded them to the newly made line. These became the point/bottom of the hearts.

After a lot bit of fiddling, I decided to fold the remaining rectangle on top in half, and from there I just rounded off the edges by folding. Idk how to explain. Anyway, here they are!
