Day 24 (Christmas Eve!)​

It was an exicting day on Vanilla, after so much build up, Christmas is nearly here! The lazy villagers were even up early as they were too excited to sleep at the prospect of meeting Jingle! Jingle had a big problem though, he had forgotten he had arranged to meet the villagers on the evening of Christmas Eve. He called up Buck and I, and we soon found oursleves in Jingle's house.

'Buck, Jenny! Thank goodness you came!' Jingle explained his situation to us. We bought agreed we had to help Jingle as we couldn't let the community down. We did feel as if we were tricking the villagers as Jingle told Buck to dress up as him. Jingle told us to remember it was the community who would be disappointed if they didn't meet 'Jingle'. Jingle continued 'If you don't help me, Buck, then I won't be able to deliver to the villagers on Vanilla and neighbouring islands!' 'OK, Jingle, you've convinced us, it is a good little white lie!' Buck exclaimed! Jingle was really impressed with Buck's 'Jingle' impersonation.

Jingle's house was soon filled with villagers who formed a large queue to meet 'Jingle'! Carrie even said: 'Jingle, I think you look even better than last year!' Buck and I had a quiet chuckle to ourselves!

There was a steady flow of visitors and everyone enjoyed meeting 'Jingle' and no-one knew the difference! Buck said 'Jenny, I think we need a hot chocolate with marshmallows after such a busy day!'

Day 25 (Christmas Day!)​

After an extremely busy December, Christmas has finally arrived! Buck and I decided to have a little time to ourselves to relax before the villagers woke up and start to commence the festivities until January 5!

After Buck's help yesterday, Jingle left Buck and I a personalised Buck sofa!

Day 26 (Boxing Day)​

The villagers were so grateful to Buck and I for all the activities that we held through December, that some of the residents decided to put on a show for us!

Roscoe, Al and Kidd dressed up as Mario, Luigi and Wario respectively.

Buck and I had a great time and thanked the residents for thinking of us! Afterwards we all had some tea and cake!

Day 27​

As Christmas continues, Buck and I went to an indoor fairground. Buck won a Teddy bear and gave it to me! We then had some popcorn before heading home.

Buck and I held a baking workshop on Vanilla! Al and Kidd joined us to make some tasty treats for the rest of the island! In my opinion, Buck's baking was defintitely the tastiest!

Day 31 - New Year's Eve!​

It's the final day of 2025! Depending where you are from Happy New Year's Eve or Happy Hogmanay! Before the villagers wake up and start the celebrations later, Buck treated me to a private sunrise breakfast as we shared out favourite moments from the year. Turkey Day and Halloween were so much fun, but I told Buck, his birthday was my favourite part of our year! We are going to have the best year ever, pardner, especially as 2026 is my year!

Thursday, January 1, 2026 - New Year's Day!
Day 32​

Buck and I partied all night with fizzy apple juice and iced coffee to keep us awake! We welcomed 2026 in style and we are looking forward to the year ahead!

Buck and I woke early to remember the mess from the party last night/early morning. Buck being the fitness guru he is got the room back to normal in no time at all.

We decided that we are going to spend the day together watching the television and eating treats!

Vic's Birthday with a very special guest!​

I decided to go over to Vic's party and surprise him with a birthday present, however, I got the bigger surprise to discover who else was at Vic's birthday party!

Buck, if I'd known you were here, I would have came as soon as the party started!

I'm happier than Vic after seeing you!

Everyday is my birthday living on the same island as you!

Buck doesn't only have strong muscles, he has a strong voice too!

I was so happy to find a Karaoke System in Nook's Cranny. I had never seen it before since starting playing in February 2022 and was desperate to buy it, so I caught lots of sea creatures so I didn't need to break into my ABD.

I was just heading back to my house to set up my new karaoke system when I bumped into 'Smurf' Buck.

Yes, I've got have a karaoke system, I have a feeling where this is going...

I don't want to sell it to you, I want to give it to you for free, Buck!

That's quite a difference to what I've just paid Timmy and Tommy a few minutes ago, but you're worth it.

As long as we can perform an Elton and Kiki duet!

You'll definitely be seeing me, Buck!

I bumped into Buck on Vanilla, what a surprise!

It's so true, Buck! 2025 did sprint by! It didn't sprint as fast as you!

Buck was thinking ahead to the New Year's Eve party at Resident Services.

I decided to give Buck an early present for luck as it's his year in 2026!

I’ve had a villager with my birthday before - you’d get your normal birthday party but Buck wouldn’t show up. Then later you can go to his birthday party. There was no special dialogue for it when it happened to me (before the 2.0 update.) So Buck will never wish you a happy birthday on the actual day (unless they’ve changed it)

I was having a nightly stroll along the beach when I saw Buck looking as if in was in a dilemma. Naturally, I had to go over and speak to him...

Oh no, Buck. Please let me know how I can help you.

He asked me if I would catch a Yellow Perch for him. Buck you didn't even need to ask me, I would do anything to make you happy.

Buck did some exercise to try and decompress as I set off on my Yellow Perch quest.

Nearly an whole inventory later (thank goodness for bulk crafting Fish bait), I finally caught a Yellow Perch! I made me way back to Buck.

Buck, I've got something for you!

If any other villager had asked I probably wouldn't have spent so much time trying to catch one!

Thank you, Buck! However, you didn't need to give me anything! I will treasure my tee with silicone bib forever!
