Mafia is always fun, until you roll it 6 times in a row, so town

I'mma guess Jacob if he is being overly nice to people, Evan is overdue to be scum so probably him, Tae is always scum, and then bianca because why not

Tae 1000%

6. Who can best read you/who can you read the best?
I best read Ness/Dolby and I'm always spot on with Bianca. I struggle with Heyden/Chele I feel like
Mogyay can read me best, because were soulmates and she just gets me

7. Do you think it's fair to read people off their RQS answers?
I mean when its all you got, sure. But the ones bringing it up on day 3 to add on to a case unrelated to it are annoying/ suspicious. It can help retrospectively when you get some scum dead, but up until then not really and even then its a weak reason.

8. What are indicators of someone (any random person) being scum in your opinion?:
Avoiding confrontation in reads/ having reads that don't say anything, offering snippets out in the open but not acting on them, holding onto poor reasoning even with better evidence, tunneling or only really focusing on one person, a certain kind of wishy-washiness. Scum always have an agenda so its all about reading the context imo, and not crafting together some flawed PoE that is hard to reverse later on down the line. Everyone is different though, so something coming from one player may be scummy, but normal from a different one.

I suck up to vanessa whether its a king maker or normal game, she's the king, or in a normal game so I don't know what dolby is getting at. But he likes to make these assumptions early on every time even if they're contextless, so I don't see it as scum-motivated. Also whether they are sucking up to the king or throwing out bad leans straight out the gate I don't think scum would be so bold so early, even dolby.

Also, update on the printer thing because I'm lonely and have no else to complain to about. I couldn't have set it up because the USB cord was left at my mom's house so she'll be bringing it over tommorow. I made progress today though getting the ink/paper working.

That's exactly what I was thinking, but honestly every game I play with Antonio he's not very attentive so imo it's not really indicative of anything, even though it should be considering he's play 10+ games already.

Rn I think Evan is kinda town, I feel scum evan wouldn't be that stupid to bring attention to himself bc he's kind of an easily lynchable person (people aren't really hesitant to lynch him, unlike dolby, ness, toads, jacob, etc), and as scum would he not just save the trouble and name 4 different people?

Also Chele's RQS when she answered the RQS question, idk how to feel about that. Most people answer the fearkill from a mafia POV but she answered from a town POV which is interesting.

I thought antonio was scum last game by being overly critical and.... missing things (to put it nicely), but then was very wrong. I do the same with Evan where eI think he is always scummy when he gets an attitude, but I've been so very wrong on him too.

So I am posting as I read the thread from the earliest messages.

Tbh, lowkey don't like that Ness and Toads were pushing for Vanessa to make the RQS. This defenetly applies more to Toads (100% a committed null rn before he blows up on me tbc) but its kinda sucking up to the King already and I don't like it because it's capitulating to the king completely running the thing. Tbh, it's somewhat gut but that's how I can best articulate it

Could you explain more? I do not see how asking (they weren't even "pushing") for the RQ's to the king could come across as somewhat sucking up? Ness and Toads probably wanted to start off the conversation, seeing as early-game conversation is very awkward. Also what difference would it make to Vanessa if they asked for the RQ's? Everybody is going to ask for them anyways, and eventually we'll all answer it. It's not like Vanessa is gonna have a bias to them for asking for the RQ's.

I understand not reading opening posts before diving into the thread because the game just started and it's exciting, but why not check the main post if the question requires you to know the player list

I am perplexed as to how that could be a red flag to you. I personally think that if Antonio (or even anyone) were to be Mafia, then he wouldn't dodge the question and make up an excuse just so he wouldn't get the chance to answer. I wouldn't even be surprised if he didn't read the OP. Also regarding the Dolby thing:

I doubt Damniel would pick the same mafia members like last game so anyone ones but Dolby, Dad, and Vanessa. Unless it's random. Idk. .-.

Dad isn't even playing, so it is understandable that he wouldn't know if Dolby was in or not. He, after all, is an inattentive person.

And Rune and Antonio, why were you both going after Evan? Asking for a wild guess at the scumteam would tell you nothing and lead you into nowhere. It didn't even bother me that he skipped the question, because if he was town or mafia, he'd probably just say the same thing. You don't need to worry about it and drag it on.

Slightest of TRs on Antonio and Rune for latching on to my RQ answer; it was lazy play and it's hard to see scum trying to get me over this. Could also be opportunistic scum but seriously? This early on? Nahh I doubt it

I'm so confused. You just did a 180 from defending yourself to saying "slight TL on Antonio & Rune". Honestly I wouldn't even call it AI, because they're just attacking you based on ONE of your RQ's and it's just an answer which said 'lol'. You even justified yourself by saying 'I'll choose a random.org selection' and stuff, but what's with this abrupt turn?

Btw, I think that the KM probably just randomly selected Vanessa? There's no evidence or reasoning to it, so that's it.

I think vanessa is a great choice for day 1 king tbh. And it's a totally random choice. The kingmaker for day 1, with no information, should pick someone who also will give a lot of information about their alignment. From then on, kingmaker will at least have one solid town read to pick. But that's all I want to say on the matter.
