^ Heck, it wasn't even a regular gift, it was a package request. But I did look into it--you have to get the DIY recipe from them, then you are able to deliver the package -- and UpFalls mentioned the same thing. ^_^

Still though. Villager-crafting is very messy.

Lights! Sometimes the light of my scooter is bright, sometimes I barely see it. I would like to be able to decide which light I want to use.

I HAATE it when I need to give something to a villager, but I can’t because they are crafting, fishing, etc. Would it have been TOO hard to still add a “This is for you” interaction -.-

Edit: So, I looked into this some more. You can give them packages after they tell you what they are crafting. Almost six years in, and there is STILL stuff I’m learning about this game.

I am at least happy it was a recipe I didn’t already have, so I didn’t get a duplicate shoved down my throat.

You can actually get their attention even if they refuse to. Say like they are fishing or sitting down where they say 'I'm just enjoying a rest!' Just keep pushing into them until they stand up and then talk to them right away before they decide to sit back down. I don't know if that works for fishing so you might just get them angry/upset if you push them too much, so instead hit them with a net. They'll try to cast their line so you have to be fast and talk to them.

It's a bit mean, but we have to do what we got to do if Nitendo gives us a game that is sorely in need of better QoL
