Hello, as I was moving out a particular villager, I found a pattern on the dates that villagers ping and the time they move out. This is an extension of Dotop's efficient method found at GameFaqs .

http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/997811-animal-crossing-new-leaf/67044105

With this method, you will be able to move out or cycle villagers efficiently WITHOUT looking for the mover (only the 1st one). And you dont have to TT every day to find where the mover is EVERY TIME (again, only the 1st time). This method is really safe, however utmost focus is needed when inputting the dates.

As TT to the wrong date could mess it up. A note or an excel sheet would be helpful. Also, this is quite complicated but its the easiest and most efficient Ive found so far and its guaranteed to work.

There are several requirements:
1. You must be able to create a new character (Less than 3 chracters) to do the villager reset trick. But this time, its to find the mover.
2. You must have 9 or 10 villagers. Villagers would only move out if there are 9 or 10 villagers. This method is ideal to remove that 10th villager you dont like and if you already have 9 dreamies.
3. You must TT (obviously).
4. The first cycle would be the longest since you have to set the date where the movement would start.
5. No need to carry bells, etc or fill your pockets, you can run even on empty pockets.

Now with that aside, you must remember 2 dates and must take note of it.
1. Villager Move out date - The date the villager will tell you that they will move out.
2. Villager Ping date - The date the villager will ping you that they will move. This is also the date you must TT back to stop them if you want. The villager ping date is always 3 days after the villager move out date.

Let's start with the cycling:

1. Find a mover by TTing 1 to 2 days at a time. I'll use my example as this is how I removed Merry effortlessly in less than 30 minutes.

2. Once you find the mover but dont want them to leave, just say NO. Take note of the date they will say they will move out (Villager Move out date). In my case, Tammy wanted to move out on 07/05. And my current date is 06/27.

3. Now, we all know that saying no to a villager who wants to move out, you can safely TT forward at any length without repercussions. So, TT 3 days ONLY after the villager move out date to have ANOTHER MOVER. In this case, TT to 07/08 Load up your mayor, save and quit. Make sure that this is three days after the date that the villager initially requested to move out. At this day, you can find the mover, but you dont have to as you can just TT ahead to know who he is (Dotop's method).

4. TT 1 month ahead (1 week ahead is fine, but so that you dont confuse the dates 1 month is better). In this case since its 07/08, TT to 08/08.

5. Create a NEW character. DO NOT LOAD MAYOR OR ANY EXISTING CHARACTER. This is the crucial part, do not load any existing character or you will lose your dreamie. Once you create a new character, you don't have to step out of the train station. Once Porter the Monkey gives you the map, you would know who moved out. With this, you would now know who moved out!

6. TT back to the villager ping date which is 07/08 (1 month back). Load your mayor. Since you TT for almost a week, Isabelle will scold you or ping you. DO NOT GET AFRAID THAT SOMEONE MOVED OUT. Isabelle is scolding you for being away for too long.

7. Once you load your mayor, go find the mover. Here's the tricky part. If the mover is inside their house, save and quit . If they are outside, talk to them TWICE . I said twice because the first conversation would lead them to say that you were away for a long time. The second conversation would be them asking "whats the latest lets chat or whats up" etc. They will not ping you yet.

8. Save and quit again after talking to them. Load your mayor and walk to them and this time, they will ping you about them moving away-this is guaranteed. And say NO! if you dont want them to move and yes if you want them to move.

9. If you said NO because he is a dreamie, take note of the move out date. The move out date is ALWAYS 8 DAYS AFTER the move out date of the previous mover.

10. Continue to cycle movers and finally have that unwated villager move out. Again, its random, no need to be nice or give letters or swat them with a net. You're wasting your time.

11. IF you removed that 10th villager and wanted to move ANOTHER villager, you can do so, but you have to TT and skip or put a place holder (more info below).

This is my cycle in removing Merry:

The first date is the date they said they will move out (Villager Move out Date). Second date is next Villagers ping date. Its the date you have to TT and save & quit.

Tammy------07/05------07/08

Rodney------07/13------07/16

Apple------07/21------07/24

Soleil------07/29------08/01

Clay------08/06------08/09

Soleil------08/14------08/17

Rodney------08/22------08/25

Merry-08/30--MOVE OUT

Placeholder Date-09/07-09/10

Tammy-09/15-09/13

Now if you notice, I moved out Merry on 08/30. If I wanted to move out ANOTHER villager, I would have to TT to 11 days (8 days +3 days) its as if there was another villager. Then repeat as necessary.

Have fun!
