That one part of your map that you dislike!

Lunavila's map is basically perfect, but Drowsy's map... aaahh. I'm a little too attached to my villagers to reset now, but the beach positioning is weird to me, and while in Lunavila, Re-Tail is basically as close as it could be to the edge of the map, in Drowsy, it's in almost the exact spot but slightly farther away and it really gets to me.

Other than a rock that ruined my original house placement plans, Marzipan's map is pretty awesome; Minimal rocks, one pond off to the side, out of the way. I was just so upset that I couldn't have my vertical line of villagers like I wanted.

I cannot stand thin strips of land! Like in my town everything is nearly perfect (The river makes the shape of a U but the tops then go flat.) The flat end on the left is middle with the map BUT THE RIGHT ONE IS TOO HIGH. So now im left with a small strip of land that I dont know what to do with it. Also my Plaza is centered with my train station and the bridges are symmetrical.

Yeah, I'm sure the "cramped" ramps are more desirable and I can see the appeal in them but ours definitely aren't odd! And even if they are to some people, I've definitely seen odder (see: uglier) features in other towns haha. But a well-landscaped town can make up for those things!

And aw, thanks so much for visiting and for saying that! That means a lot to me! It's still in fall, right? I usually keep it in spring/summer but last fall I thought I'd change it up a bit. I'm gonna give it a fresh update soon though, after I replace a couple of my villagers (and possibly re-landscape a bit depending on where I can get them to plot)

Yes, I believe that it is still in fall! If it's no trouble, please tell me when you update it, I'd like to visit it again! :)

I have that pond by the train station, too. There's a rock near it which is a little annoying.

Now that you say that, there's a rock by mine too! It hasn't caused me a *ton* of trouble by I'd definitely prefer if it wasn't there. Is the train station pond common?

That piece of bottleneck land drives me crazy

I hate my entire river and the way my beach is laid out. I dislike how I can't see the other side of the water, or at least see the water the way we were able to in acgc. I feel like I'm missing out on fish. I realize now after seeing other people's towns that there are better layouts to have a better view of fish. I wish I had known that sooner before I established my entire being into my acnl game. But I still don't know if I would have gone through with restarting my town since Chief was one of my beginning villagers. I hope the next game they make doesn't have this same issue.

Something that bothers me about my map is this quite large area in the lower part of my town. What I mean is there's like a long strip of land that's perfect for placing villagers on the coast and then if you go upwards from there, there's this huge chunk of land that I have no idea what to do with. I realised it's much too small for placing all of the illuminated public projects with, so for now it's just barren. It's like one of the pieces of land that appear to be quite large in size, but quite narrow at the same time? and much can't be placed there.. so I have no idea what to do with it. Especially how it's just directly up from my neighborhood of animals, so if I put something there it'll just look quite weird. Other than that I really like my map.

That weird skinny piece of land that nearly every map has. It's a nice spot for a campsite area but it's too thin for any pwps or houses so I usually just use it as a dump
