Do you love love love your map, minus maybe one or two parts? Like, maybe it's that one pesky rock, or maybe one of your dreamies moved into a terrible spot but you don't have the heart to kick them out!

For me, I love basically everything about my town so far (I personally think the map is near perfect and I'm so happy with it!), but the part on the bottom where the slope leads to the bottom beach bothers me.

Grrr.jpg

(It's labelled with my current visitors also!<3)

I really do love that the slope leads downwards, but... that space between the slope and the wall drives me crazy! There's not enough space to put a palm tree (it's two spaces wide), so I may just fill it with flowers or fruit baskets. :)

Of course, I have rocks that are in the way, and that pond up by my train station is pretty annoying too. But over all, I really do like my map a whole lot. :)

I have that space next to my beach ramp too! I think it's more common than not having one. I like it personally, downward ramps without a space on either side seem cramped to me but maybe just because I'm not used to that

My main town definitely has too many ponds and rocks (4 and 9, respectively) but since I finished landscaping it a while ago those things don't really bother me anymore, as I managed to work around them all :-)

I'm sure there are things that bother me about my other towns but I haven't spent enough time working on them for anything to stand out right now. I do wish Ludgate's south beach ramp (speaking of beach ramps) was vertical instead of horizontal and lined up more closely with the boat dock. And Sudden has a rock near my campsite that's making it difficult to landscape there ugh

I don't like the way I placed the Police Station. It's one space below where I originally wanted to put it, so now it's not lined up properly with a nearby building and it looks awkward.

Well I'm glad to hear it's common hahaha, I was worried that I got some really weirdly shaped slope and that people would look at it strangely! :p

I personally really really like the ones that look more "cramped"! I once visited a dream, and the mayor had her path perfectly aligned with it and I thought it looked really cute! :)
(By the way, I visited Achewood on my other mayor and it's very beautiful! The houses are all so cute and I love how you left little outfits that matched each one!)

Mine is the top right corner, just up from where the plaza is on your map (don't know how to do a photo on to here).
Anyway, I use it as a small orchard but I hardly ever go up there, it's so narrow because of the river. Really wish I'd considered my map more before I started

Yeah, I'm sure the "cramped" ramps are more desirable and I can see the appeal in them but ours definitely aren't odd! And even if they are to some people, I've definitely seen odder (see: uglier) features in other towns haha. But a well-landscaped town can make up for those things!

And aw, thanks so much for visiting and for saying that! That means a lot to me! It's still in fall, right? I usually keep it in spring/summer but last fall I thought I'd change it up a bit. I'm gonna give it a fresh update soon though, after I replace a couple of my villagers (and possibly re-landscape a bit depending on where I can get them to plot)

I have that pond by the train station, too. There's a rock near it which is a little annoying.

I really don't like that there are 2 beaches since I've always been used to having one ;-; but I love my map other than that <3 I think my map looks a lot like the initial post except the curve of the river goes up instead of down and is straight across. Also, the plaza is closer to the middle ^.^

I really like the layout of my town map, but when I built my cafe, I had a suspension bridge really close to the back of it. When I finally got the fairytale pwp and demolished the suspension bridge, Isabelle kept telling me that I couldn't build my fairytale bridge there anymore. So I like my bridge placement less than before.

It's not really that big of a deal, but I wish retail was closer to my house or the train station so that selling all of my junk would be easier. Everything else I'm ok with.

Now, if I would have to say. It would have to be that Re-Tail, and Plaza are at the wrong spots. The town hall is fine, but the other two I mentioned no. You see, my town is supposed to resemble my old town I restarted back in 2013. Everything is fine except for Re-Tail and Plaza. However, I can live with it. I would hack but its not allowed on TBT, so please forgive me for mentioning hacking on an AC board.

For the most part, I'm pretty happy with the map I got. I guess the only thing that can be considered a pain is that the beach waterfall splits off one area of the beach away from the other, making it a pain if I want to speak to Gulliver when he's washed up - and the only way I could reach him is crossing the waterfall's base wearing a wet suit. XD Had I known that would happen, I probably would have picked another map layout, though having Re-Tail close to the station is pretty hard to knock down!

The ponds kill me (in-between the train station and the plaza) and i have a thin strip down the side of my town where marshal decided to move and ruin my path.....

Here's my map!

Real sad that one of my dreamies, Cherry moved all the way up north because I messed up with the reset trick. I wanted to bundle them all close to the south. Maybe I will get used to it.

I really enjoy my town map. However I kinda dont like how a part of my river is fatter so i cant build a bridge there
