This is why I try to "meet" all my potential dreamies in a dream town to make sure I like them in person ^_^ For instance, I didn't get why everyone loves Rosie so much until I met her, and I was like, "Yeah, she's really cute."

Yeah I've had animals I thought were dreamies. Agent S was the main one that came to mind, thought she would be in the top 10, but after watching her walk around a bit I thought "Not good enough".

I make a point of visiting dream addresses before I get villagers now. When I saw Apollo actually walking around he felt too plain.

I Google every villager I think I want but haven't seen in the game yet before I decide if I want the villager. I look at in game pictures on Google so I know what they'll look like in the game. I want to avoid that issue from happening. XD

Mine was with punchy and tangy I had them twice but still failed my expectation somehow.

Eh this has never happened to me. I don't really care about dreamies and stuff though so my expectations for villagers are low.

I had Wendy as one of my dreamies. She is cute but I think I will let her leave once she's ready.

I kinda did that to Merengue.. I mean I saw her in a dream town and I loved her, but when she came to my town I didn't really care that much about her, so when she asked to move, I let her. But I felt nice, so I sold her to someone who really wanted her. c:

I don't really care too much about obtaining dreamies, so no I haven't really had this happen yet.

I did, however have the opposite situation with Keaton, where I didn't think I would like him at all, but he ended up being one of my best friends in the game!

I met Marshal once for 2 seconds, he's adorable and all but I won't spend 30 million bells on him...

I wound up disliking Fauna after a while, despite having picked her out looks-wise as a dreamy pre-release. I didn't go to any effort to get her though (was an original to my town, no resets.!) so it wasn't a big deal. :B

I used to think Marshal would be a fav too, but he's another I no longer have any interest in after babysitting someone's while they cycled. He was so stubborn and I accidentally got Papi in boxes during the process (and his house location was PERFECT) so I'm grudging against him lmao.
