I have been offline for a year. A few weeks ago, I randomly received an email claiming that someone wished me happy birthday from this website. I know that the user does it for everyone (or at least I assume so), but it warmed my heart and really made my crappy day better. That email has been in the back of my mind since then, and last night, I finally logged back in and returned to my ACNL town. I discovered that not much has changed in both places, and that makes me even happier. I cannot express how much nostalgia I am feeling from the dozens of hours I used to spend browsing the forums and helping people out.

And so, thank you, members of TBTF, for not changing.

Since idk where else to post this, staff, feel free to tell me if this should be moved elsewhere

Welcome back then! I'm so glad to to hear that some kind soul reached out to you and lead you back here to find a welcoming place that you remembered fondly! I personally came back from a ~3-year hiatus many months back and I definitely can say that I was very happy to what I came back to as well!

Hello Kurai, I do agree with you; I have been offline for longer times as well (from TBT) but then there is always the nostalgia from AC and/or friends from the forum which cause me to come back to TBT. Indeed, I have made some kind and delightful memories on this forum and simply quitting would absolutely not justify the decision, especially not towards the friends I have made on here.
Also I agree with MasterM64, I am also delighted there are still kind souls out there, people who realize there are still real people behind a computer screen

At the moment I am not very active on Tbt, but I am planning to be online more when AC:Switch is released next year.

I do agree, I just came back after a very long hiatus from the game and the forum and I'm so happy to see that this place is as pleasant as ever. I think the community is one of the best parts of this game. Being able to help others and get help from people make the game experience so much rewarding.

This is one of the few forum websites I'm apart of, and I do love how there are so many friendly people online. I also totally agree with you, AC Switch is gonna be a great game!

I have been part of TBT since the City Folk/Let's Go to the City days and I will definitely say that this place will continue to hold a special place in my heart especially since I would argue its part of the reason why I am here now being able to make this post because of all the kindness and joy people on here have brought me (used to be in dark place in my past).
