after you restart you are at your house, just like when you start after saving. Unless you go and request to move the villager who asked to move’s house they will likely thought bubble again, so if you don’t want to ignore them for the rest of the day (which I don’t) request a housing kit and then return it (you get your money back.

either way, nothing else will be changed, your other villagers will have thought bubbles as usual, but none of them will be there moving out thought bubble (until the next day). If you request to move the house of the villager who asked to move, you can even talk to them when they have a thought bubble but it will be the normal one, not a move out bubble.

there is a slight chance some task you were in the middle of might not have saved, but the game auto saves so much, even this isn’t common.
