Giveaway Tell me a way a 11year old can earn money in the uk!

You could do what I did when I was little, have yard sales. I know it seems weird and maybe a bit difficult but all you have to do is find some objects, old toys and maybe some clothes you'd like to get rid of. & If you don't have much of those then make things, adults are suckers for crafts and if you get really good at making something in particular maybe one day you could sell it online. But yard sales are a great start to make quick money. & If your parents are stricter then just say you're doing it to learn more about business or something like that. XD

Everyone entered! I'm gonna put these in action in the summer hols...for GOOD statinary for secondary....probd...

I'm pretty sure girls in the UK can do similar things girls can do in America..but here's a list :

- Ask your parents for a dollar for every chore you do without being asked (most parents do this from what I know)
- Hold a yard sale with the help of an adult we don't have yards let alone yard sales..
- Offer do help a neighbor like mowing their lawns. Seems like a vintage way but it's still a good way of making money very unlikely anyone would let a random kid in their garden.
- Dog walk
- Babysitting ... They're 11
- Help out at a daycare center....They're 11..
- Hold a lemonade stand another thing we don't do here
- Work at the library again, they're 11....

There's honestly not much an 11 year old can do to make a lot of money :/ but the key is just patience. If you rush things, you'll end up getting frustrated and give up. Just give it some time, kids at that age don't have many options..but I suggest the easiest way is dog walking and baby sitting.

:/ See this is what I meant by my previous post - I've crossed out all the things they absolutely cannot do.

Well those is just what I've done in the past when I was 11 ._. I never mentioned those actions were possible for all kids

Sorry, I didn't mean to be harsh or anything I know you're only trying to help them <3 it's just, they're asking for advice applicable to the UK - that's why I myself would never go into a thread about another country and give advice on making money haha bc it's gonna be different everywhere you go. :) I'll bow out now~

Anyways, good luck alesha :3

Well if you don't have very high grades right now, you could ask your mom to pay you 5 dollars for every A you get and 1 dollar for every B you get. That way you will be motivated to get high grades and get payed at the same time!

I just found out that you are the parent xD Sorry about that!

That eleven year old could help a younger sibling of a family member that is junior to them by tutoring them in a subject difficult to them and earn money like that.

I'm not sure exactly how it works in the UK, but back in the US bake sales were a thing of often! It was kind of a project, and to get adults involved and all that when I was younger was really an interesting way to get a bit of pocket change!
