IIRC, last year they mentioned it could take a bit for the server to recognize your choice. If it doesn't let you buy the Lucky Cat Egg (the only one you can purchase currently, which I assume is the one you want) after waiting a bit, then I would contact the staff.

I woke up this morning thinking about asking if anyone would let me hunt with them, but then I started looking up keywords and finding eggs while still not fully knowing which clues they're for, so I'd probably be a bit useless at helping people find specific ones lol

Edit: I think they were 1, 5 and 14? I found them within a few minutes, so I just needed to take more than a few seconds to join the dots!
