Really interesting to see the hybrid distribution--I was initially surprised to see that so few hyacinths were grown, but it makes sense given the popularity and newness of the sakuras. Almost every member I see is going for a lineup of mostly or entirely sakuras, with roses as a definite second place. I'm actually a little glad our options are so limited this year; it's hard enough to grow hybrids of just one kind of flower. Hopefully next year brings some hybrid pansies or cosmos, as those are my other favorites.
Since I didn't get to participate last year, I'm focusing entirely on hyacinths as they are my favorite of the flowers (and my NH flower), so here's to our small but mighty group! May a multitude of purple hyacinths find us.
