TBTs not accumulating when I post

I noticed that for the last few days I have not accumulated tbts for my posts. Not sure how long this has been happening though, I know for sure none for yesterday or today so far.

If you make very short posts, they only accumulate a fraction of a bell rather than full bells.

You can see the posts you receive bells from (and how many bells you earned from them) by clicking here.

After looking at her posts, she's making very short posts in retail. So, yes Tina is right you bell count will go up with bigger posts.

By the way, when you click the shop and check how many bells you have, does it have a minus (-) sign before the number?

Not right now, but I seem to recall seeing that before. Why, what does that mean?

Also, I looked at that link again, and there are a few lines where post is crossed out and then says I spent some...what is that about?

If you had/have a minus (-) sign in front of your bells in the shop, then you've probably given someone more bells than you have by mistake. Don't worry about it, I've done it a couple of times before by accident. You may have earned them back already and that's why the negative isn't there anymore.

Contact a mod about it if it happens again, or you won't be earning bells again until you've 'paid back' the negative bells.

It means you've edited your post. It doesn't mean you have lost any bells though; when you press submit it recalculates how many bells you get for the post.
