I was thinking just yesterday how cool an egg collectible contest would be!!

If it helps, I tried making the egg templates transparent when I was making my egg, and these are what I got:

(I removed the borders though since I was already using the background that had the border)

Was about to get ready for bed, when I suddenly realized what I must do... what if instead of egg... watermelon

I started by blowing up the egg template to a 500x500 canvas and drawing in the rough egg shape.

Darkening the melon stripes:

Adding the rind—at this point I was envisioning just a small slice taken from the melon.

But I quickly realized that wouldn't look the best tiny, so a big slice it was!

And after shrinking the file down, doing some final touch-ups, and putting everything together, we have the Watermelon Egg!!

i made a sylveon egg. a self indulgent project since i love anything pastel pink and blue ​

i actually was gonna stop here and do some color adjustments (which would make it closer to my final version) but it just felt so empty and i tried a few things but nothing really satisfied me so i ended up just painting on sylveon's face which i liked better

i also ended up scrapping the extra ribbon just cause it didn't really feel like an egg but i kept the top cause i thought it was too cute haha

Introducing the Peep-A-Boo Egg! When I was a kid I used to play a lot of Roblox, and back then they had these egg hunt events where you played a specially designed game/experience to earn egg-shaped hats for your avatar. Once this contest appeared, I decided I was going to bring one of those Roblox eggs to TBT! Hopefully this goes well!

I was torn between which egg to submit. I think Plague Doctor would look better as a plush; I should’ve made the arms maybe bigger and moved everything down a bit. I also forgot to shade it. Also couldn’t resize it without it losing its quality.

Love all the entries everyone have submitted so far!

I came up with an idea for an egg I'd like to make. My art skills are pretty lacking and I don't know if/how I'll add that shading to show roundness and depth since I've never done anything like that before. We'll see how it goes.
