TBT's 2026 New Year's Party

The countdown has started, and the sky will soon be filled with bursts of color. The new year is beginning, so welcome to our celebration! At The Bell Tree's special 2026 New Year's Party, we're hosting eight fun activities that will earn you coins to spend on a variety of forum collectibles, both new and old. Each activity will also allow you to try your New Year's luck in four different raffles. To get started, visit the new event board called TBT's 2026 New Year's Party!

For a more casual gathering, we're not awarding winners or favorites this time. All prizes can be earned through participation or correct answers. But with eight different activities, there's still so much to celebrate, so let's start the party! The event will be open through January 11th.

Each activity will earn you the following currencies: Countdown Coins are used to buy collectibles from the shop, while Lucky Tickets can be used to enter raffles. If you're stuck with any leftover Countdown Coins, you'll also be able to convert each coin into 2 Lucky Tickets starting on January 12th.

Buy more raffle tickets to increase your odds of winning. Members can only win once, and the raffles will be drawn in this order: Star Wand (silver, regular), Snowy Lights (bunny, sky), Star Fragment, Balloon. For example, if your name is drawn in the Snowy Lights raffle, it will be skipped in the Star Fragment and Balloon raffles. Please note that all winning collectibles will be dated January 18th. Additionally, anyone who enters at least one raffle but doesn't win a collectible will receive 50 consolation bells.

I was going to take some time off here since I’m dealing with some personal stuff, but I just took a peek and am now reconsidering. This might be just what I need to get back to feeling better; I really love the themes and positivity to each activity. Been dealing with a lot of negativity at home that this is seriously so much appreciated. I hope you all have time to enjoy the event too! Thank you all so much for even considering having an event so soon .

I’m glad there is no staff favorites this time and that this seems to be a more chill event.

I really love all the collectibles; I’m excited about the snow bunny since I owe someone one. Just hoping I can earn enough and maybe be able to get at least one star fragment or something. I particularly like the gilded, lithium, and scorching ones!

This is such a cool event?? I love the new star fragments, the colouring is so gorgeous—the lithium and scorched sodium especially! (I did my short chemistry project on emission spectra and these new frags have stolen my heart). Definitely entering the raffles if I get enough currency me already calculating the number of frags I could potentially buy combined with the probability of winning a raffle to try and work out how to optimise my spending before ever even being awarded currency

Aaah, new star fragments! The gilded copper is a must have for me, but the others are beautiful as well. A chill event seems like a perfect way to enter into the new year, and I'm glad to see there's an advent calendar

I may not be a total fan of star fragments, but those new ones look fire! Especially the one that "IS" based around fire.

Knowing how much I love the hot balloons so much, I do plan on getting those as much as I can.

When I saw the prizes my mind screamed ‘bunnies bunnies bunnies’ but ohh the stars are so pretty! I missed those hard but pleasant choices of what to do with my currencies at the end of the event

And the lack of favorites took this, I'm not sure how to call it correctly, competitive drive of my shoulders. I felt almost tangible relief while reading this part. I'm so happy with this decision!
