That does seem to be the average, though it mostly depends on what time of the day you happen to visit the thread.
I've been taking a look whenever there's a new reply and the vote gap has ranged from 8-13, for the most part.

People justifying Etoile collectible for the TBT fair is just not valid because the sheep that wins will have their collectible purchasable with TBT bells, not with event tickets and the collectible will need to fit with the overall feel of the website for years to come and I just don't see that in Etoile
