Story Bump Time.
Furby's scare the royal heck outta me. When I was a kid my american grandmother sent me a holiday furby for christmas and I thought it was SO COOL. Fast forward like a year and a half later I was rearranging my room and had all my crap in boxes with all batteries removed from everything. Around midnight there was this unholy demonic sound that woke me from a dead sleep and scared me so bad my pre-teen self ran into my parents room in tears to find my baby brother in the same situation. My step dad was sceptical, but went to investigate. 20 minutes later the hellish sound entered the room, making my mother swear in horror. My father was holding my furby. I FREAKED OUT. I knew I had pulled the batteries out, and my step dad was *****ing me out for not doing so, took it to the garage to remove them and a few minutes later he came back into the room and said:
"I threw it away because it's clearly possessed."
He had discovered that I had, in fact, taken the batteries out.
I'm now terrified of talking toys :'D
