Giveaway TBT Giveaway...........

Just started giving TBT away now and if you have a good suggestion feel free to post and I'll keep this thread open til later on this afternoon.
I thought my suggestion was cute, if you can make it happen,to me Christmas is more then just material things, its about the love and friendship you share Make it all about HER. Do something special from the heart. Because she will love that more then most things.

Is she into anime? Possibly anime merch? Or anime movies?

Possibly put together a 'romantic movie night' kit which could include: Some of her favorite candy, bags of popcorn, drinks, anime movies (or any movies), and a blanket for you two to cuddle under. Most public theaters offer gift cards too, so if she would like to go out to the movies instead.

id say go to urban renewal and find something very cute and vintage for her ;) they have some really good quality stuff for cheap! kinda like nordstrom rack but better.

unless she doesnt like clothes id say some cute acnl/rilakkuma merch... you can never go wrong with one of those plushies

I think it would be a little awkward to give your girlfriend jewelry this early in the dating stage (unless you've both known each other for much longer of course). I can tell you clothes/fashion would be very tricky because women's fashion is different in every store and it really depends on what your girlfriend would be comfortable wearing. If you are going for fashion, take a look at what she usually wears and keep the receipt in case things don't fit right. Is she someone who loves skinny jeans or someone who'd rather be in a loose hoodie? My personal advice would be to try away from clothing unless you know her size or intend to give a gift card.

I completely agree with someone who said giving her a CD of her favorite bands/artists would work great. It's appropriate for the amount of time you've been together (again, unless you've known each other much longer). Does she have any special hobbies? If she does, I recommend checking out Etsy or Redbubble for cute nerdy types of custom gifts.

I also think it'd be a good idea to do an activity together. Maybe something like ice skating or movie/show marathon depending if you both like going out or not. Cook her dinner or go out to eat. Maybe take a stroll at a bookstore or museum or go out dancing. Again, base this on what both of you as a couple would prefer to do together. As long as you both enjoy each other's company, then that's what matters.

If you have no idea what to get her, then ask her for a wishlist. There's no shame in it. For all we know, your girlfriend may want something she hasn't gotten to try out yet or may want something super specific. I'm sure she wouldn't mind if you asked.

(Source: I've been in a relationship for 9 years.) Happy Holidays and good luck!

How kind of you! Might I suggest an outfit you'd like to see her in? It'd make her feel special that you pay attention to little things and feel happy that someone she loves picked it out.

If you're both into gaming, maybe you can gift her game currency or items and play together.

You could try taking her on a date activity like laser tag, arcade, etc.

if shes into Japanese fashion, i can help suggest popular items and brands.

good luck and merry christmas~

I'd buy her some form of jewelry, some movie tickets, clothing and throw in some chocolate for good measure.

One of those giant teddy bears you get from Costco! C:

If somebody got me one, I'd probably cry.

First of all, a good present is always something useful, for example, a decoration item or some souvenir are not useful things even if they are pretty. So keep in mind to always avoid these when gifting someone.
Second, do you have any idea of something she's in need? That's always a great path to run, but if you don't know;
For being a girl, I'd go with the follow essential item: Beauty kit. It can range from a special soups kit, or body/hair creams, or even makeup (but this last one is dangerous since each girl has their own taste).
If she's a gamer too or owns any console, for example a 3DS, a brand new and cute DS case would be a nice present too.
If you know a brand she likes that's even easier. Browse their website because this time of the year everybody is doing 'christmas kits' for gifts.

Avoid clothes, decoration, perfume or personal stuff (like lingerie).
Wish you good luck.

These are all great suggestions, and it makes my heart sing that you care about her so much! Let us know what you end up deciding on.

And I agree with the few comments pointing out that make-up is not always the best idea as it can be seen as a generic girl's gift & if it's foundation it might not even match her skin tone & needs..so that may be awkward.

And just as a person, sometimes it's nice to get the thing you are too embarrassed to admit you want & would never buy for yourself...e.g. when I was younger I was a tomboy & only bought myself cds & videogames...

but when someone gave me a plushie/teddy bear I was overjoyed & have a secret soft spot for certain girly gifts & really appreciated them.
I secretly always want a bear. :)

**obviously if she is already an obvious girly girl the book/movie suggestion is better, as people in general feel bonded when you discover their hidden/secret side & shower it with love. :)

Especially if she was ever teased for being a "bimbo" then a book will really show her that you don't see her like that, and you see her as so much more than a pretty face.

**
it all depends on the person.

What I did for my boyfriend's birthday was get a box and filled it with things he likes: sweaters (bc I always take his), favorite candy, aaand handmade-handwritten open when letters (I forgot to buy envelopes for this one so I ended up making it myself too ;-;)

You can include something small that isn't too expensive like a plushie, bath and body works stuff. It all depends on what she likes :) Open when letters are great when you don't get to see each other much.

It doesn't have to be something grand. It's the thought that counts.

BUMP!!

First off I would like to thank you ppl for your suggestions and I recently went christmas shopping so if you have gotten TBT from me tonight then I used your suggestion and wanted to thank u for making my christmas shopping much easier.

Well I am a girl so what I would want hmmm, well the semi-mature side of me says a game(board game, card game, DS game, what ever) something you can use to bond with her. The immature side says get her a stuffed animal(or a real one) with a cheesy saying or some stuffed animal and say that when you saw it you thought it was like her, super cute and sweet.

She likes Animal Crossing too,so I will give her:
-A real flower...
-A set in Animal Crossing...
-A heart-shaped chocolate in Animal Crossing...(Did you say No-Life...?)
