Sure, these "blogtree" threads can be empty to the rest of us and so no real reason to discuss them.
Vblogging for in itself is fine, but I don't think that these should take over from threads.

Unless of course, you recorded yourself and posted a reply to each video. Then it'd be a chain though. i.e.

Original Videi: "You know what bothers me? Cats. Discuss." ~ Tom
Second Video In Reply: "Mine tore up my room!" ~ [nook]
Third Video In Reply to Original: "Mine's evil. He's hides in my room under my beds and waits for me to come in, then he pounces." ~ Bacon Boy
Fourth Video in Reply to Third Video: "That's bizzarre." ~ Lisa

And that's why I don't think they are really worth it.

Posting full, 5 minute videos on youtube say about yourself is fine and dandy. Not 5 second for a reply to some thread.

Although I'd love to get right into this doing book reviews, AndyB is right. Personally the 6 second responses would be a waste of time for me. And at one point the "main" video will end up being less than a minute. I think of we were to do this either everyone gets their own topic for their own videos if they'd like, and people can comment as they please OR just have one HUGE thread like the picture thread. I think if someone were to do one they would have to have permission and there video topic should be looked over to make sure it's appropriate. Then there would have to be a limit so that people aren't flooding 10 second videos three times a day. I think this is a good idea.
