TBT bells since I have nothing else I'm really saving up for in game.

Only looking to do the retail method since it's much faster.

The Re-Tail method involves you putting up small items (like flowers or fruit) for sale in Re-Tail for 999,999K. I would buy one, go to the ABD, come back, buy another and repeat the process until we're finished. (You would just have to put up 8 in this case.)
