omg tamagotchi was my childhood!! though I only had two eheh I got the one with the 1-pet only and the one with the family pets

I still have them, and they're still working (i don't play with them anymore though..)

I never had one, but I did see a tamagotchi store in Tokyo, it was pretty cute especially with donuts shaped like the characters

Omg yes, I had Tamagotchis when I was younger. I hated them because they'd always die on me when I left them alone, and a bunch of us got in trouble for bringing them to school and checking on them constantly.

Tamagotchis were totally the thing when I was in middle school. I have a few still. I lost interest when they moved on to raising full families, though. :c

I love Tamagotchis! If you happen to have an android phone, you can actually get one on your phone with both Gen1 and Gen2, and it's a free app. It was cute, but my phone died and the phone I have now is Windows. Ugh.
