So, company makes a game.
Good game. Sells copies.
People happy.
<For ease of making sense Lyle-style stops here>

So yeah, you've gone out and bought a game. Let's take my prime two examples: Sonic Rush Adventure and Super Smash Brothers Brawl

You've been playing through the story mode, yay, right? Then you notice you have to play a level OVER and OVER to get the materials to get to more levels to get more materials. and if you don't A rank levels, you're gonna be playing them a longass time.
That's Sonic Rush Adventure.

With SSBB, all I need say is: The Great Maze.
Again, just makes you play levels over again.

Some people might like these, I don't really; have you guys ever played these or any other games which have moments that feel like a desperate attempt to keep you playing for longer?

I thought the great maze was actually a lot of fun, especially with 2 people.

But to answer your question...yeah. I think some games just want to lengthen the game/storyline too much that it makes it aggrivating...

uhmm the great maze is like a combination of all the other stages (since i think everybody here knows the reason) but anyway i passed it and im happy for it =D

Great maze was fun because I was playing 2player.
on 1 player?
Would have SUCKED!

It IS a combination.. just made me feel like I was doing the same stuff over again

OR the 'hunt through every stage you've been to to try to find x amount of one item to continue'

That's the reason MP3 is yet unfinished.

Increasing the entry fees that force you to grind was the only problem I had with No More Heroes.
