I'm not really too sure why these sweethearts are giftable. Can anyone elaborate on that and why it "might" be a viable strategy to do so? (If at all)

It’s a nice feature to be able to buy and gift mystery hearts to other people - it lets the more active folks contribute to possibly less active folks who haven’t had time to gather enough dust before the reset, and lets the dust from more active individuals not go to waste

As for gifting the letters once they are revealed, it may help people spell the words they need if the RNG doesn’t help you get the right combination of letters! For example, Ts from the first night would be very valuable because both target words end in T. So if I miraculously got 10 Ts the first night, then I might want to trade those away to help others, or if I needed a different letter in between some of my later letters that I wasn’t able to RNGenerate but maybe someone else did.
