What villager did you either have no opinion over or dislike before that you fell in love with?

For me, it was Cyrano and Lucy.

Freckles! I didn't really like the ducks that much but I loveeeee her now. To pieces.

Maybe Gaston. His house creeped me out but then when I got to know him, I dubbed him my "funny bunny" and now he is never allowed to leave my town.

I used to dislike Ribbot too, but after he changed his mind about moving three times, he grew on me. I eventually did let him leave though. I'm happy I get to see him on Main Street though. Sometimes I miss him.

Merengue, I never disliked her but she's grown on me

Merengue as well for me, because I was always used to having the little, cutesy animals like bunnies and cats in previous AC games. When I first started New Leaf, my starting villagers were Ribbot, Camofrog, Rosie and Merengue, so she was like the odd one out for being so tall and huge.

Actually, Dora and Penelope. I still don't like them loads, though.

Aw, yes, I really liked Cyrano and I let him move just to get some new faces, but I really miss him. I sometimes forget he moved away and get sad about it.

I really like Pietro, didn't think I would, but he grew on me. I think his catchphrase makes him seem extra adorable.

Marshal. No offense to anymore I hate the squirrel villagers. But after talking to Marshal I adore him!

Kabuki (when I had him). At first he kinda scared me, but then I liked him :3

O'Hare. I don't like the smug personality at all, definitely my least favorite, but he was so cute and the personality gets better the closer you get to them.

Mathilda, Marshal and to a lesser extent Deirdre for me.

Mathilda was one my my original 5 in my old town. Didn't like her much at all, and found I was really saddened when she went to leave. ~ we used to dance in Club LOL together.
Marshal I didn't think was that cute, and then he camped in my town when I happened to have a space and just couldn't not have him.
Deirdre I have in my town now, she was never a dreamie until I realised I only needed 2 more deer to have the lot between my towns and I don't really like uchi's much but since she's moved in I now really like her.

Tucker. I hated him but he grew on me. And bertha.

Anabelle. I thought I didn't like anteater villagers, but I saw her in a dream town and thought she was pretty cool. Now I've had her in my town for a long time and she's a favorite

Quillson. I loved his never-changing facial expression. What a cutie. I miss him.

Hamphrey. At first i thought he was dorky, but i just love him so much now. So small and grumpy.
