Anyone else get it? There was a huge pre-launch event for it where I live, so I got it as well as Tanuki ears and tail, as well as a key chain. Anyway, what do you guys think of it? I think it's fun, but I wish it were more challenging. Finding the star medals is easy as pie.

it may seem easy but theres another 8 worlds after the first 8 and they are harder. Anyway, I think it's a great game, I've already got it 100% and unlocked all the photo album pictures and such, so it is kinda easy since it's only been out a few days.

Freakin lucky you! New York gets all the launch events! I got it, it's good, but it's a little disappointing. First of all, there's almost no challenge, star medals are easy, the enemies are pitiful, and the platforming is easy to get around with, especially with the tanuki suit.
Once again there's no storyline. I know Nintendo just wants to get to the point with the Mario games, but us players need SOME motivation besides a princess. But the game is really just a 3D version of New Super Mario Bros. It has all the same aspects, just more explorablity, but the prize you get for alternate paths is just coins (this game really over-does it on the coins). There isn't a good variety of enemies either, just the same ones for all the levels. I don't want to bash on it, it's still fun, simple, attractive, and addicting, but I had slightly higher expectations.

I've been playing a lot of Super Mario Bros. 3 recently, so I was expecting the same kind of challenge. Nope...

I got it, yeah it was barely a challenge but it was fun, remember it's aimed at more toward young kids now. I was a little disappointed with the 3D, it didn't pop as much as the LoZOoT like I thought it would. All well, I'm happy with it :)

My mom bought it for me as a surprise since I got my wisdom teeth out on Monday. It's fun...not as good as previous Mario games, but it'll pass the time until Mario Kart.

Some of the levels I wouldn't even imagine being in the Mushroom Kingdom at all.

It seems too much like SMG/SMG2.
The storyline is to the point, but too simple.
Gameplay is fine, but too easy.
Graphics are smooth, but I'd rather not use 3D.

I am trying to get it tomorrow before I go on a small vacation on Saturday so I can have something to do in the car.

>3D
>SMG Team

I wouldn't come in with too high of hopes honestly. I look forward to playing it(handheld games=easier to sneak than console games) when I have the time.

I LOVE this game. First 3DS game where I leave 3D on the entire time. The 3D actually adds to the experience. Just beat the final level in the first 8 worlds. : D Time for the special worlds...

I just got all the Star coins in the whole game.

How are you supposed to get five stars on your profile?

Is this game worth getting? I've seen trailers and they haven't done anything for me.
