Super easy to find a tier 1 dreamy, IMPOSSIBLE to find a tier 5, lol!

Yep...Gaston. Took me forever to find that cranky bun! I wish more people realized how sought after some T5 villagers are...they'd probably make almost as much from selling them as the tier 1 villagers.

I've never tried getting a tier 5 villager so I don't understand but...can't you just ask for cyclers to hold onto the villager you want instead of voiding? I swear I've seen a number of threads with a disclaimer that says they'll autovoid tier 5 villagers unless someone requests for them to hold onto them. There's also the looking for thread as well. You'll probably have to pay a little more to get them, but it's another possibility.

A lot of people won't hold onto lower tier villagers for long because they're trying to open up their towns for the more popular ones. Even if you lurk for them. They usually only hold them for a half hour or so so you have to be lucky to be online just as they are posted.

It is fairly easy here to find tier 1 dreamies, but have you ever labored to find an unpopular tier 5?? My daughter has fallen in love with Beardo. He is the smug she wants, not Marshal, not Julian... Beardo! And darn it if I am having a bear of a time finding that bear! Same with Groucho. I can't find that unpopular bear to save my life, lol!

Isn't it weird that you can't find the villager no one wants?! Who are some of your tier five dreamies?

Robin, Tex, Twiggy, Midge, and Annalise are all my dreamies and are tier 5. I got lucky with Tex and got him on my own. I got Twiggy through Reddit, and Robin through Tumblr. I don't yet have Midge because I can't find her anywhere, and I found someone on here giving away Annalise, which is a surprise. Tom and Tangy are tier 3 and I actually barely see them here either. I got Tangy in my campsite, but I cannot for the life of me find anyone giving away Tom. I saw one person the other day but they never replied.

It's so sad that if a villager isn't tier 1 or 2, they often get voided faster or in the case of tier 5, are autovoided. Then people overprice for tier 1 or 2 villagers (I once saw a tier 2 villager go for 450 tbt) and while some are bought, a lot of them go ignored.

Interesting. Out of the first five cycling threads I just decided to check out, only one of them stated that they void tier 5s. The rest of them seem to keep them for adoption and even have reservations. But I haven't experienced actually trying to search for one, so I guess it's more difficult than it looks. Or maybe it's also slowly getting better now since it seems like more people are looking for the lower tiers.

If cyclers sold tier 4 or 5 villagers for the price they did tier 1 and 2 villagers, they would get so rich because it's so hard to find the villagers not in one of the top tiers.

It's probably because everyone figures no one wants them or would pay well so it's not worth their time trying to hook up with a buyer.

I tried for two months to get Greta. It just wasn't happening. I decided to ask Betina to move in instead. She was in my campsite, and she's really cute.

I've paid top dollar for teir 5's. Cyclers will save them for you, if the price is right. I don't mind paying a lot of tbt for a villager I really want, no matter what teir they're in.

This...I try to put up every villager that leaves my towns, but it's so hard to find homes if it's not a Tier 1 or 2. I can't hold them for hours, but I want people to take them so I don't have to void them.

ah thank you so much for letting me know! whoever's lurking for her can have her because I posted a looking for post on Reddit a couple days ago and someone replied to me last night (after my last couple posts here) and allowed me to take Midge from them.

I have a list of eight snooties that I want in my town after Fuchsia moves out. There's eight on there because 1. I can't decide on just one snooty, and 2. There's only one snooty on there who isn't tier 4/5. I'm worried about having a hard time finding any of them on that list. Not only that, but I'm also looking for a tier 5 dreamie and a villager I really want that's tier 4. I hope I'm able to find them...

It's not that they're losing their value, but they're just easier to come by because everyone offers T1 and T2 villagers...low tier villagers aren't as easy to find, especially if someone wants one that many people have never even had in their towns.

@Dorian - I have Beardo! When he pings me to move out I'll let you know. But just be aware that I don't TT so it may be a while.

Also it makes me so sad when villagers are voided. Especially when they've been in someone's village for a long time. I love adopting. I love the stories they tell me of their last town and how much love they have for it.
