Sunflower Inquiry

I'd be game if that was a thing. Actually, how would we harvest the sunflower seeds? Would we just violently shake them? Attack them with a scythe?

I figure we would harvest them like we harvest bamboo and shake them to get seeds like when we share trees to get acorns.
I have a small plot of land where my bamboo is and think a plot of sunflowers would be a nice blast of color!

I voted yes! I'd love the ability to grow sunflowers! 
Naturally, they'd be perfect for a summer-y tropical island! We could shake them for seeds and use said seeds to craft really cute sunflower furniture

I'm up for the ability to grow pretty much anything new! Sunflowers? Sure! Grapes? On it! Cabbage? Yep! Mandrake roots? Just be careful when harvesting!
But I also like sunflowers in general and think they'd look love on Ava's farm ☺

A toy scythe as an equivalent to toy hammer would be great or just as furniture. I’d like them since there is an area I was working on that is based on Dressrosa from One Piece. If I could use one like a toy hammer too, that would be a plus. Watch out @NefariousKing
. I definitely need more stuff to grow in my little farm area. Something European/American preferably since the area is loosely based off of La Mancha from Don Quixote and other areas are loosely European/medieval themed.
I think sunflowers are beautiful and I’d want them for that reason alone. I’m not sure what can be done with the seeds that would interest me, but some sunflower diys would be great. A wreath and another crown I know we already have a sunflower crown, but a simpler one would be appreciated.

I think this is a great idea! There are a lot of opportunities - sunflower furniture, sunflower seeds for DIYS, maybe using sunflower seeds to attract certain criterpedia species. It'd be exciting!

Omg yes, I love this idea. Sunflowers are one of my favourites, so if we had them in acnh I would be so happy. Can you imagine the cute furniture we could maybe craft using sunflowers? Thinking along the lines of the sunflower furniture that is in Pocket Camp. That would be adorable. Would match well with the sunflower crown that I always have on my head.
Looks like I'm in the minority for this one, haha! Voted no because I don't think I want more things to grow and harvest. When we got the pumpkins last year I made two harvests and now I hardly look at those anymore, unless I want to move a bunch of trees around.
I'd be happy to have sunflowers as an alternative to shrubs or low flowers though. Tall plants are nice for decorating.

I would love love love this. I’m general more plants of various heights and shapes would be welcome, and in particular I love sunflowers. My character spends most of the year in the sunflower crown so having some sunflowers growing would be so lovely.
