Sub-types of villager personalities?

Is this a thing? I noticed it when Mott moved it, so I had two jock villagers (him and Kid Cat). I was talking to Mott, and he said a piece of dialogue I had never seen in my time playing. Out of curiosity, I started to chat up Kid Cat, seeing if I could get him to use it too. After about a solid 15 minutes of trying until he just stopped talking, to no avail. I tried again today, and still nothing. Is this a thing that has been discovered?

For any wondering what said dialogue was, it was a piece I found quite funny ("Hey, <player>! Check me out! ...No, I?m not talking about my clothes! I wanted you to appreciate my rippling muscles! I think of clothes as the icing on the scrumptious cake that is my jaw-dropping physique! Haha!")

I've actually had that piece of dialogue plenty of times from Jock villagers. Although I did get a really sweet piece of dialogue from my smug villagers that I'd never heard before, it was probably because I became really good friends with them. When I heard it, I was just like well then.. I clearly was not very good friends with this villager before. It's really surprising when you get to hear new dialogue from villagers because it makes you feel like they're less like drones and more personal to you. It's always good to rediscover new things about the game, considering it's been out for a few years now so you'd think the dialogue would've gotten old by now.
