I adopted Ribbot in my cycling town a while ago because my main town was full. No one wanted to move. I finally got Bertha to move and even closed without saving because she tried to change her mind. (It was sweet -she said she would miss me too much.)

So then I deleted my fourth character to create a new one to find Ribbot a good place. I realized while walking around, looking for his home, that the street lights were on. I had saved my game with my mayor at 5:57 pm instead of am....

Ribbot is not where I wanted a villager. He's also not destroying a path, so he gets to stay. And I love him. He's staying even if he had ruined a path.

But I'm annoyed with myself. It was a careless mistake.

Ever do anything stupid in acnl and wish you could fix it?

I did something stupid when I was first starting to TT, but luckily nothing bad happened.
I was cycling villagers out, back when I only had two or three permanent villagers, and everything was going well until I notice that the trees were pink. I haven't been playing for more than a few months, got my game on June or early July, so I had no idea what that meant. I googled it and... It said it was an April event. I had mixed up the Month/Day set up, and had been TT'ing months instead of days... (in my country it's Day/Month). I took a chance and just TT'd the 2 or 3 months I had "missed", and luckily nothing happened, no move outs, nothing, but just knowing how stupid my mistake was and how much of a risk I took makes me extremely cautious when I TT. (which I still do, a lot)

I'm also extremely regretful that I didn't make a pwp in Sylvia's old spot because Marshal's spawning there like 75% of the time and I'm so done with him right now.

I remember early on in my game (like a month or two after I started) I accidentally sold my shovel. Nooklings didn't have it for sale for days resulting in spoiled turnips and my villagers complaining that my town was mess. My perfect town rating went down the drain >_<

I finally got a new shovel like a week later ;__;

After returning from a long hiatus I tried setting my clock back to the last time I played which was sometime last year. I changed the day and month correctly but forgot to change the year. I didn't realise until my town was already loaded and my villagers were asking where I was for the last 12 months. I wish I paid more attention cause that mistake cost me my favourite villager. ;0;

last week i bought 2 million bells worth of turnips and forgot that tt-ing spoils them. whooops

I was so excited about getting Eloise that I ended up putting the campsite down in the wrong place. I've learned to accept it now as I don't want to reset, but lord knows it took a while. From now on I don't rush anything. Lesson learnt.

not letting Marshal move out a long time ago. now i'm attached to him and I don't even like him that much whyyy

TTed too much in my cycling town and Penelope was gone :( Nooooo my baby mouse.

Sold a bunch of exclusive dlc's and event items thinking they were useless, and voided Papi when I promised him to a friend (who managed to pick him up via wifi but still)

I've accidentally dug up hybrids a few times, and accidentally sold things I wanted to donate to the museum.

My biggest mistake was inviting Rosie to move in from the campsite then inviting Olaf to move in the next day. I had room for both but inviting Olaf cancelled out Rosie. I've got her now though :).

I had a few plot mistakes when I first learnt how to plot reset. It took me a while to understand how to do it properly.

Accidentally TTing Zell out. He was my favourite, and I know I would have kept him, but now I only have 1 villager I want to move out and cycling him back is going to be a pain.

And also messing up the plot reset for Marshal. I didn't like him that much, but he was in boxes in my cycling town and I had an open space in my main, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I set the time wrong and he ended up in the worst spot possible...i had to move a bunch of trees and a pwp two spaces over to fix it. I love the area now, though, so I think he's become a permanent villager when he wasn't meant to be lol

Not TTing properly, I lost like half the flowers in my town in one go but luckily no villagers. Lesson learned, don't play when super sleepy! Before that mistake I lost a lot of turnips, so I haven't TT'd since. Not worth the risk for me

Last night, I set the time to 4am so I could dive for the horseshoe crab without worrying about villagers being awake. I searched for a full hour and was cursing the horseshoe crab's existence when I decide to hit the wiki. Turns out they go to sleep at 4am :rolleyes:

So, I set the time to 3am, put on Full House, and found a horseshoe crab before Uncle Jesse could say, "Have mercy."
