Bronze - 50 streetpasses
Silver - 300 streetpasses
Gold - 1000 streetpasses

Erm... how to go about this? I can go into Dundee (nearest large city) and, a lot of the time, get zero streetpasses. The majority of these zero streetpassers do not play Animal Crossing so this seems like a bit of an issue, and would still be if the badges only required 5, 30 and 100 respectively. Never got a streetpass from inside a moving car (stationary though, yes) so presumably it's just far too quick for gather streetpasses.

Does anyone have any tips or their own experiences with this particular badge to share?

I've had good luck in Best Buy, Barnes & Noble and McDonald's. I can't stand McDonald's, so I sit in my car in their parking lot for a few minutes. It works! LOL

I've gotten a couple of Streetpasses in Home Depot and Bath & Body Works.

I live in a smallish town and was really surprised at how many street passes I used to get on a walk around town centre... it seems to be a bit quieter now though, so I suppose people aren't really doing it anymore.

I am fortunate that we have three 3DS's and four carts in the house (we are an ACNL family <3) so whenever someone is charging, they leave it in sleep mode... my husband and I are always streetpassing each other in the house!... the only problem we have is that we always end up adopting each other's voided villagers, which is a bit of a problem :/

i got bronze by walking past a school every day. could be seen as creepy if you're a 30 year old guy. good thing i'm not.

I did well in M&S... until they got rid of their Nintendo hotspot. Since Bestbuy no longer exists... will the Carphone Warehouse work?

Lol, nice. Do multiple streetpass hits with the same person count towards the badge as with the other ones or not due to the HHA Showcase? I've tried taking my 3DS around town to common places (barber's, bank etc.) and have got absolutely nothing from it so I guess you're just living in more of a Nintendo town than I am. :P

Still in high school here and some people have a DS, but I only know one person who has New Leaf and they don't even have the streetpass set up. Not streetpassed any primary kids (gosh, this is starting to sound paedophile-like) on the way so I don't think they bring anything to school. I remember back in the day on special occasions (last day before summer holidays and such) people would bring their DSs to school... up until someone sent something rude via Pictochat and that was the end of that. >.<

I honestly have no idea... it is a massive amount of streetpassing to do though, isn't it? I also used to work with someone who played ACNL... bearing in mind we are in our 30's and used to bring our 3DS's to the office to streetpass and play at break times :/

If you can, the best place is a university. Find out where they hold first-year classes (these are huge, in a decent sized uni first year lectures have hundreds of people because it's an introductory course) and sit in that building for a bit. When I was in first year I got 10+ streetpasses a day just by going to class and about half of those played ACNL. If not, any video game store, especially on Nintendo game release/ event days.

But to maximize your streetpasses, you really should be taking your 3ds with you everywhere you can. If you live with your parents, offer to go along when they go grocery shopping or running errands. Take it with you to school, etc. It might take a while if there's not a lot of nintendo players in your area but even one streetpass is one you'll miss if you don't take it.

Honestly though, university/college. maybe it's just my spot, but I get tons of passes on campus. It's my best advice for streetpass.

I've never heard of M&S or Carphone Warehouse. I live in the US, though.

They're shops in UK, first one is an abbreviation for Marks and Spencer.

I've given up on the streetpass badge to be honest, my roommate plays this game as well so, I turned streetpass off so I wouldn't pick up her voided villagers anymore.

I don't plan to got to any sort of university so that's not much of an option for me. The main shops don't seem to have many 3DS users either. Maybe one day I should get a job somewhere in London to go on the Underground twice daily when it's most crowded. I bet that would work! Lol.

Yes the streetpass count when you tag the same person over and over.
I gave up taking my 3DS and just tag my other 2 3DS. Two mayors are on silver and the 3rd is on bronze.
I messed up early on with streetpasses and lost them to my digital ACNL copy. My main town mayor would have had more tags.

Try a gaming store. Ebgames (Canada has employees that still play the game and want tags).
Some players have done the Wifi thing at home. Not sure how it works but they get a lot of tags from ACNL.

Read the Underground will give you a lot of tags.
Can you ask the person at school to set up the streetpass so you can tag? The person may say no but it doesn't hurt to ask.
You can tag each other every 8 hours.

Cool, thanks! The Underground is not really an option since it's however many hundred miles away. The problem is that I just can't be arsed hopping on a bus for a couple streetpasses, lol. Will probably send that person a long rant about why they should take their 3DS with them for play coins, streetpasses and the Happy Home Academy (though they don't even play ACNL - just own a copy) although they might not even see it due to all the video stills of Chadtronic from YouTube I sent. :P

I, too, am having trouble with this badge. It's one of the few badges I have left. I just take my 3DS with me whenever I go somewhere. It'll be quite a while before I obtain this badge, that's for sure.

i could probably get a lot more streetpasses if i brought my 3ds to school, but i don't because it's seen as weird to carry video games around school :[

The airport haha. Everytime I travel I get TONS. You could probably just go near one and get some.

Well if there are any gaming events/cons in or close to where you live you can always go there. Otherwise shopping malls or game stores(or stores with display 3ds' might sometime ****) is your best bet.

I've gotten like 2-3 hits where I live, mostly GameStop that is close by in a shopping mall or from people walking around in the mall cause 3ds is not that huge and no one played new leaf afaik...

if you are a tech person, i know theres a way to make your wireless router a nintendo zone, so you get streetpasses in your own house. google it.

also if you ever go to an anime/gaming/nerd convention - you'll get a lot there.

When i went down to Florida for vacation, I got a TON of streetpasses, enough to completely fill up my Happy Home Showcase. Needless to say, it helped me get many full themes.
