strange villager crushes?

Earlier today, I was watching some new leaf lets plays and in one of them, this guy had Shari in his town. I'd literally never even seen her before but for some reason while I was watching the video I suddenly fell in love with her and now I even kind of want her in my town (unfortunately I have a deer themed town and I just now obtained all of them, so I'm not about to give them up yet).

Has this kind of thing ever happened to any of you??

Didn't fall in love, but I just found Cally to be super adorable and she reminded me of a plush I had when I was a baby. So,after I saw her in a DA that I visited, I decided that I absolutely wanted that adorable funny squirrel in my town! Thanks to Bubblebeam, I got her every time I see her walking in the town with that sweet smile, she makes me feel at home. It's beautiful that a little game like this can give us such positive feelings!

I wouldn't call it a crush, but I think Jacques is really cool. He's definitely one of the better smugs, IMO, and he'd be the one my mayor would most likely flirt with.

Painfully obvious with me, but if you've watched most of any video that involves "Animal Crossing" and "Vinesauce", I've probably certainly watched it, and earlier videos seem to like to show off Lolly in them, to the point where a Mii resembling her was made for Vinny's Tomodachi Life streams. Dunno why, but she was darn adorable, and I did like her catchphrase a whole lot, too. From that point on, I wanted every town in every AC that I play to have her. So far I just have CF and NL, and I got her in both.

I've had a crush on Ed ever since I met him in the original game, and whenever I have him in my town in new Leaf he always ends up right next door to my mayor's house without plot resetting. I think the feeling is mutual.

I'm a one man kind of gal, but that doesn't mean I don't have my lady crushes, too. Tiffany and Cherry are who I always crush on. Love me some punk/goth girls.

sooo many villagers haha. a lot of the lower tier ones like midge and benjamin. i'll see pictures of peoples towns with a villager in it and all of a sudden im like "wow i think i need them in my town" lol
