Sticker Mario 3DS

To pass the time while I wait for AC I got Sticker Mario

At first I found it very difficult (sad I know) BUT I am finally getting the hang of it and it is a lot of fun!

Anyone else playing Sticker Mario??

I am at the very beginning. I just beat the three paper cone Goomba's and am trying to get past the big wind

Yeah I have it. I'd never played a PM game before so this was my first, it's not great but it is rather fun though.

I just got all royal stickers and just threw them into the cliff or w/e then I stopped playing lol

I'll probably play again soon

It's not a very good Paper Mario game, but it's a decent 3DS game. It has major potential but the lack of experience and motivation really hinders the overall game.

That words it greatly. It lacks most of the humor that I loved in the previous games, though this may be due to lack of originality amongst characters

I feel the same way about it. I'm just hoping the next one will be better & on Wii U

Yeah i didn't like Super Paper Mario all that much. Thousand Year Door was my all time favorite. I sat down playing all day.

I mean, don't get me wrong, Super Paper Mario had an interesting story to it... However, the game mechanics were derpy.

Yeah I'm not saying the games were bad cause both of the newest games still have "something" good to them. The story for SPM was very good but i was disappointed when i found out it was mainly 2D (not a big fan of 2D mario games) & PMSS has pretty good gameplay but there isn't even an RPG/Leveling system which was one of they Key features in the previous games & i hear the story isn't all that great either.

Also, no partners. That's what really bugged me about SPM. There was a lack of character, considering the main protagonist [Mario] was silent, per usual. Yea, you had Peach, Luigi, and Bowser, but they don't substitute for good partners. Neither do those pixel things...

Really? Super Paper Mario was the only Paper Mario game I enjoyed, gameplay wise. They're all visually appealing, but turn-based games always fall short for me.

I agree with Yahtzee from The Escapist. He said that he feels like Paper Mario is the series Nintendo throws all of their new ideas on. The first two games were amazing, but then Nintendo just kind of threw away the old formula and tried to reinvent it. I'm not saying Super Paper Mario was awful, but in comparison to the others, it was a bad Paper Mario game. It would have made for a much better regular Mario game. The one thing I will give it, though, is that it's beautifully done.

I do agree that Super Paper Mario would've been better executed as a mainstream Mario game, it doesn't match gameplay wise.

Well it matches in the sense of platforming, but it could have been done as a regular Mario game. It just honestly has a weird place in the Mario world.

This is my first paper Mario experience so I like it I'd also love to try Super Mario 3D Land. How does everyone feel about that one?
