My town needs a cranky and I'm thinking of Static...maybe I could visit someone's DA to have a little convo with him?

I think meeting him in the dream world would help you decide, but they also have limited dialog there, so asking people about him who've had hi for about a month would be great too.
I had him in my cycle town, didn't know him well but he seemed like he was potentially one of the good crankies.
I'm a huge fan of the cranky type, and have two in my town, was even thinking of three at one point! But that would be too much repetition, although I do love them.
O.K. So the sweetest cranky I know is actually Wart Jr! If you befriend him he is actually really jolly & Lantern Town's grampa. He's always gardening & gives me nice things.
He's super sweet! After you befriend him his mood improves a lot & he's actually sort-of extroverted.
(you can visit him in my dream town, I also have another awesome & handsome cranky--Lobo)
I also got to know Grizzly & Kabuki who stayed for months in my slow cycling town. Grizzly is just as sweet as Wart Jr, and people may like his design slightly more (being a bear) He was easy to befriend, and I didn't notice much crankiness to him. I thought Grizzly was actually a pretty laid-back cranky.
Kabuki is a very particular cranky & a favourite of many. Not only is his design & house unique, he is also the "peppiest" of the crankies, often singing & having a lot of moods!
He actually gets cranky/snappy at times, but you might find it worth it because he's "happier" than a lot of crankies too.
I thought he was weird in the good way.
Lobo is very sweet, and not as peppy as Kabuki, actually he seems sad & pensive a lot of the time. He's lovely and my mayor has a big soft spot for him.
He's humble & rarely gets "cranky" at all. In fact he's more likely to get sad. He's a sweetheart & has a really comfortable looking house.
He's a bit of a lone wolf & makes friends slowly. He's introverted compared to Wart Jr.

Oh cool! I had octavian in my campsite & even though his face was terrible looking, he seemed like a nice guy. How does he differ from the other crankies?
