Starting a new town rn?

I'm aware that animal crossing new horizons is coming out in March, but I probably wont get the game until Christmas. I have a spare copy of acnl so should I bother creating a new town and building it up until then?

Of course! If you feel like starting a NL town, go for it. I actually started a new town a little while ago and it's been super enjoyable.

Definitely! It'll fill your time while waiting for NH and it's great fun to play anyways! We're kinda in the same boat lol. I can't get NH till September (oh gosh you gotta wait till xmas I'm sorry ) and I'm starting a new town too.

We've got almost 2 whole months until NH comes out, plenty of time to get your fill of NL before the new game. Doubly so if you won't be able to play it right when it comes out

i think you should! it's a great way to pass time
plus, you might even get some ideas from the acnl town to put into your new horizons town!
also, i don't think people are gonna stop acnl even when new horizons comes out- so you'll still have people to trade with and stuff

If you're feeling like playing the game again, then I think you should go for it. You've got almost a year until Christmas, so that's plenty of time to work on a New Leaf town before you get New Horizons.

Personally, I bought a new town not too long ago and I don't care if acnh is around the corner. I will find time to play both games eventually.
