Started a new town with the intent of enjoying it but because of stupid villagers moving in the middle of gardens and such while the REST OF THE MAP WAS OPEN I'm already thinking of cycling until they leave, unless there is another option, or advice from people? Help!?
If you haven't put too much work into the new town yet / didn't spend too long resetting for it, I would say start yet another new town and immediately start using the "villager reset trick" to keep new move-ins out of future garden/feature spaces. If you don't know what that is, create a new villager before loading an existing villager at the start of every day a new animal might move in and force-quit if you see a new house in a spot you don't like. Save if you see a house in a good spot or no house at all if you like.
Also the moment you get mayoral approval, start building small PWPs around those places you don't want them to move into (generally if PWPs are up to 6 spaces apart, houses won't in between them; sometimes 7). I used street lamps because they didn't look bad either.
edit: Aaand aside from resetting or living with it until they leave, I think cycling is the only other option if you're in a hurry.
