I bought it when I was looking for games to occupy me before NH came out. I ended up not playing it until months later as I got really caught up in BotW, but I really do enjoy the game. I wish I could install mods that allow me to have multiple pets and stuff like that (I play on the Switch and I don't hack) but as far as mod-free goes it's still enjoyable. I've put about 150 hours into it so far?
i have 350 hours into the game and ~300 of them came from the summer it first came out in 2016. it was just so fun though 
recently gotten into it again this summer and so much has changed!! along with mods its made the game very fun and fresh again
