Starbucks, whenever in in the town with my friends I normally get a hot chocolate with them to take out and the cheese toastys are REALLY nice.
Though I do enjoy Costa, I believe Starbucks has a better vibe.

I've never heard of Costa. Also this thread makes me want a pumpkin spice latte.
Starbucks because I've never had Costa and it pulled me through my finals, but it's an evil international-imperialist company and I'm ashamed I still buy their coffee. I'd support local cafes if they were actually good.

I've never purchased anything from either of them. They seem a bit overpriced to me. I got a really nice mug from my friend who bought it from Starbucks, so I guess they win.

Costa Coffee. I don't even like coffee in the first place, so I get hot chocolates- and let me tell you, Costa's is great!
Omg yes, and they have amazing mochas too! The only reason I survived my last hospital placement was because the hospital had a Costa, I was there practically the whole time!

I tried out the new Costa drive through today, it was a bit difficult to get in to- instead of directly coming off the main road you have to go through the little industrial estate next to it- it has only been open a few days so it was a bit quiet, I got my usual order of a medium peach Ice Tea and managed to resist the temptation of a giant custard cream. They made it perfectly but I wonder if it will be as nice if there is a massive queue- they also have indoor seating so I can see it getting a bit hectic if people don't go to the other Costa on the other side of the out of town shopping centre. I'll definitely be using them again after a busy day at work :3
